  1. yes I saw that too...but his instagram still said Houston with recent posts.

Both the Instagram and Twitter handles include the name he uses in his ad. His ad states he is from Texas and so do his Instagram and Twitter. Neither his Instagram nor his Twitter state he is in Houston right now. I don't see anything indicating the Instagram, Twitter, and RentMen accounts belong to different people.

  2. I don't feel the OP intended to haggle. He stated that $400 was too high for him and the escort lowered his rate to $350. To me, stating "the most I pay is $300" is not haggling. It might not be what I'd say, but it is easy for me to make that declaration when not thrust into the situation.

That said, the escort's offer to lower his rate not once but twice is not a red flag to me. As others have pointed out it seems like he is unsure what to charge, set his rate too high and knows it, and is trying to save the potential client from walking away. Prior to the removal of rates his ad would probably have stated "ask me."

  3. I've seen the term discrimination used several times in this thread. Am I the only one who believes that, when it comes to matters of sexual attraction, there is no such thing as discrimination? (in the usual pejorative sense, not the literal definition of the word). ...

To me, we can't control who we find, and who we don't find, to be sexually attractive. I don't find women to be sexually attractive and I don't find all men to be sexually attractive. However, I am not charging people to spend time with me. That's the key here. If an escort can only perform with a narrow band of clients he finds attractive then, in my opinion, he is trying to get paid for a hook-up.

As many Forum members can tell you, there are plenty of escorts who perform well with people who span a multitude of "types," many of which do not fit into the conventional definition of "attractive." That's why these guys are well-liked, frequently recommended, and successful. Interestingly, the ones who come to mind do not charge outlandish rates. They also have nicely-worded ads, reply to inquiries quickly and professionally, and treat others with dignity and respect.

  4. With all the talk about privacy, using burner phones, special email accounts just for contacting escort sites, VPNs, cash only for fear of tracing credit card transactions, and the list goes on why in the world would anyone open Rentmen or this site in a public place? Anyone looking over your shoulder will see what you are doing. Not to mention that the wifi in a hotel lobby is not secure.

  5. I think it might?? have to do with some new European privacy law that went into effect yesterday.....everybody has to update and notify.....

    have been getting a ton.....

That is exactly why every website is requiring that you re-accept their privacy policy.

How many updated privacy notices have you gotten in the past 10 days?

Are you reading them all? Thoroughly?

Are they easy to read, simple and straightforward? Even approach brief?

Are they clarifying anything? Do you feel you have a better understanding of your privacy, how your data/information is used?

Feels like a corporate exercise in BS to me. Important issue, but some legal actuarials somewhere must know that only a tiny fraction of users read those things, and even fewer understand them, before clicking away their consent.

Speaking from the viewpoint of someone who works for an online financial institution, we wish consumers would read, understand, and ask questions about our privacy, data usage, and solicitation policies. Doing so would save everyone time and frustration. To summarize...

We know you don't but we wish you did.

  6. Someone post a link for those of us on our phone! I'd like to be able to judge him myself, ty.

Usually don't mind age shavers if they can pull off representing the age they describe... what bothers me is when I see guys looking way older than me (37) & they're trying to claim that they're 28 or 29

    Hey Corp,

He does not have a rent.men ad at the moment, but here is a link to his most recent Daddy's Review and one to his website.

  7. I use IE, go to private browsing, google, rent.men Chicago, click rent.men, get terms of service, click on privacy policy (no red outline around the box that I saw earlier, click accept terms of service, click on privacy policy, and before I can do anything else, it flashes to RM screen (rentmen of the day), then quickly flashes back to acceptance page. Go through the same process, and back to acceptance page. Done with it.

Perhaps it's a sign financial problems are on my horizon, and I need to save my money.

Fortunately, I emailed a couple of guys a few days ago, and have that mode of communication still available.

I'd suggest you download Chrome and launch rent.men. If you do that, be sure you click both the privacy policy and TOS checkboxes.

  8. Quite an impressive travel schedule for someone in recovery.

With all the money he is saving by not doing drugs he must have money to travel. Good for him.

  9. oh I miss the olden days (March, 2016) when gas in my burg was $1.139/gal (see that era in this thread)......just paid $2.739 for regular at my local Costco......

agree with something mentioned earlier by another: I'd gladly pay more in gas tax if it was directed to domestic infrastructure.....I'm afraid there will be another catastrophe, though, in the next few months.....

Up here in Phoenix Circle K is charging $3.05 per gallon.

Gas is FREE to any good rimboys

Yet another reason not to use Pure for Men.
