    Museums

Like you, @foxy, I LOVE museums. I have a rather short museum time tolerance before I want to go outside, so also like you it is not unusual for me to hit a bunch of museums when traveling. Currently, I belong to the Phoenix Art Museum and The Desert Botanical Garden. Both of my memberships are at the level where I get reciprocal memberships at several museums/botanic gardens, and I take advantage of them whenever I travel. One of my favorite museums is the Mingei International Museum in San Diego. It is a tiny museum that focuses on folk art, craft, and design located in a historic building in equally historic Balboa Park. They recently completed a complete reimagination of the museum. For me, it's a must-see when visiting. For museum lovers who live in or visit LA and who travel, LACMA's Friend Level membership is an incredible deal. While the museum itself is, uh, "lackluster," the Friend Level membership offers reciprocal admission at both The Metropolitan Museum of Art and The Art Institute of Chicago as well as 22 other museums. I don't know of any other museum that offers reciprocal privileges at both The Met and ARTIC.
  2. I haven't seen the large bottles for several months in Arizona. The reason is back in 2019 the FDA put a limit on the package size due to Imodium abuse by people who are addicted to opioids.
  3. This comes as no surprise. Many, if not most, of our members approach this hobby with a healthy dose of skepticism. They tend not to hire guys whose profiles have never been updated and whose pictures are dated. As a result, you won't get much recent feedback on someone like https://rent.men/Fit_wet.
  4. Very smooth transition for me, @RadioRob. I love seeing the new name in the URL.
  5. When I moved to San Diego with my two cats, I put flea collars on them because fleas are a problem in San Diego. The red collars had little bells and looked very dapper (on Willy) and pretty (on Hillary). When I came home later in the day, they greeted me as usual but they were not wearing their collars. Later, I was sitting on the sofa and Willy walked up. He deposited a collar on my foot, looked up at me, turned around, flicked his tail, and walked away. I never put a collar on them again.
  6. For those who like to double their pleasure, the Doubletrees in Tucson (both of them ), and San Antonio do not require card key access. Also, last time I stayed at The Palmer House in Chicago a key was not required to access the elevator.
  7. Glad it worked out for you! With all these threads about bad hires and scammers it's nice to read about a positive experience for a change.
  8. I did a video session with a guy about three years ago as a way to determine whether I'd hire him. We used FaceTime and I paid him using Venmo. The video quality was "OK," mainly because he was using a Mac that had a lower-end camera. I was glad to have hired him for a video session before hiring him. While he was still attractive, the pictures in his ad were dated and I would have been unpleasantly surprised had he shown up at the door.
  9. To me, it is a completely different site using the same name. Makes one wonder where the users' data and photos went? Were they securely destroyed? Are the servers sitting in a landfill?
  10. While "how much the ad costs" and "generates additional revenue for RM" are technically true, in return for paying a fee the escort's profile is displayed more prominently in the list of search results, as @Beancounter stated. The benefit for the escort is self-explanatory: greater visibility. As for the client, they will see the Platinum and Gold escorts first. In a city like New York or Chicago this can be a bennie, as there are hundreds of escorts to look at. To answer the OP's question, their metallurgy is meaningless to me.
  11. At least he would know how wide you can open your mouth, not to mention file down those (ouch!) sharp teeth. Back to the topic at hand, yes I would. There's nothing shameful about hiring sex workers.
  12. He's a cutie. Thanks for bringing him to our attention, @azdr0710.
  13. Tuesday (3/15/22) I bought regular gas at Chevron in central Phoenix for (wait for it) $4.699/US gallon. It is the least expensive station around. Most stations (even the cheap gas) are at or above $5/US gallon.
  14. @Doe Be Doe, they might be trying to get referral fee income or lead you into somehow buying advisory services. There's an escort who gives a discount to clients who pay using crypto (not a red flag to me) and states in his ad that he will be happy to answer any questions (or something to that effect). That is a red flag because he is a stranger, and it feels like a potential scam.
  15. I almost ventured up to LA on the day the Oscars were being presented. Staying home in San Diego seemed the best option.
  16. "Tweaker" is a common term for someone who uses crystal meth and "tweaking" for the act of using crystal meth. Therefore, "tweaked" usually refers to someone who has used it. A quick Google search revealed this definition of "tweaking."
  17. A little research on the meaning of "sex work" reveals it includes escorting, performance in and production of pornography, stripping, and providing of phone sex. None of those activities are classified as providing sexual intercourse in exchange for money. A worker is required to report all of their earned income and pay taxes on that income net of deductions. For a self-employed individual, expenses incurred as a result of running their business can be considered a deduction. The manner by which the individual earns the income is irrelevant. As has been discussed several times, escorting is not illegal. An escort who reports their income as follows is not misreporting their occupation, is not committing tax evasion (unless they under-report income) and is not engaging in money laundering. FinCEN (Financial Crimes Enforcement Network, a unit of the United States Department of the Treasury) describes money laundering like this: "Money laundering is the process of making illegally-gained proceeds (i.e. "dirty money") appear legal (i.e. "clean"). Typically, it involves three steps: placement, layering and integration. First, the illegitimate funds are furtively introduced into the legitimate financial system. Then, the money is moved around to create confusion, sometimes by wiring or transferring through numerous accounts. Finally, it is integrated into the financial system through additional transactions until the "dirty money" appears "clean." Money laundering can facilitate crimes such as drug trafficking and terrorism, and can adversely impact the global economy." Describing an escort's business on a tax form as what it is, "escorting," does not involve any of the elements described above. Without the elements described above, there is no money laundering. Bringing this back to the topic, given the cost of living in New York City I don't think $400 per hour for an escort is exorbitant.
  18. It probably isn't. I grew up with Heinemann's in Chicago. My aunt worked at one of their grocery store locations, so we always had some in the house. When they resurrected themselves, it wasn't as good.
  19. He looks a lot like Gavin Creel, but he's not the same guy. However, he does appear to be closer to Mr. Creel's age than the one stated in his profile.
  20. I like for a guy to flex and pose for me while he tries on various thongs, jocks, and singlets. Love to feel a guy's pecs (esp un-flexed) and biceps. Getting more into oiling a guy up (found that sweet almond oil works well as cleans up more easily than baby oil). I like to suck and rim. Many guys will let me do that, even the ones who say they are straight and muscle worship only.
  21. Being a "culinary legend" doesn't necessarily mean they were making good food. Entenmann's bought Burny Brothers of Chicago in 1979 and the quality fell right on the floor. Burny had the bakery franchise in many Jewel stores. The sale accelerated Jewel rolling out its own in-store bake shops to all its stores. Bimbo's Phoenix bakery is about a mile or so west of me. When the wind blows the right way I can smell the bread baking.
  22. Concentration is required to ensure the carpet matches the drapes, not to mention avoiding spills. Back to the topic, though, I find him to be very hot but $1K/hour is out of my budget.
  23. Oh, you don't have to "begin to think." They ARE the same ones. I recall seeing them (particularly the ones in the powder blue blazer) as far back as 2015/2016.
  24. I've contemplated hiring Cade Maddox when visiting LA, but he's usually out of town when I'm visiting, so I never inquired about his rate. Sorry I can't be of more assistance.
