  1. That's because your credit card issuer is set up to do that type of verification.
  2. His Twitter account handle, which he established before escorting, is the same as his current ad name. My guess is he went back and forth trying to brand himself. Makes sense for his ad to align with his Twitter. Have not hired him yet. Waiting for coronacrisis to abate.
  3. Your credit card company called you because the transactions originated from a non-US merchant (OnlyFans is located in the UK) and were generated via the Internet. That combination is often a sign of fraud having occurred. When verifying the transaction they use the name as it appears in the transaction. If you had subscribed to "Bunny WooWoo" or "CeleryRUs" they would have mentioned those names when verifying the transaction. FWIW, my credit card company has never called to verify an OF transaction.
  4. The answer is probably as it should be. Would you like your dalliances discussed by others without your consent?
  5. I had not heard of his passing. Thanks for posting.
  6. He was a lifelong animal lover who was able to transform his passion into a career. Even after the tragic mauling incident (where he suffered from a stroke) he always had a smile on his face. Very sad news.
  7. My employer isn't starting its return-to-work plan until July 1, at which point employees will return based on the criticality of their role being on-site. In the meantime, they are planning how to re-configure workplaces to facilitate social distancing. That last bit is funny because we just started renovating workspaces to eliminate offices and put people closer to one another.
  8. Welcome back, @Okliehomo! Nice to see you posting again.

IMO, Mintboys sums it up quite nicely on the "Contact" popup:
  10. My cats are loving this. When I am on calls we play with the feather-and-stick toy. When I'm not on a call one of them snuggles next to me while I work. They either get moist food twice a day or fish flakes at lunch and moist food at dinner. They try to outdo each other in getting my attention. Now, Linus took a vacation day last week. The choices were 1) snuggling up with a pile of dirty laundry or 2) help dad work. He chose laundry.
  11. Quality takes time.
  12. I'm so-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o happy for you, @Funguy. You will have a blast!
  13. I found Chrome to work well with the Mac. My preference is Firefox, but it does tend to suck up memory.
  14. @azdr0710 , what were you thinking? Why are you putting johns in the position of sticking up for their right to degrade the guys they hire? Tricks and punters get to use whatever terms they want. What's next? Criticizing the walking ATMs who use the terms "specemin" and "morsel?"
  15. It is worth noting that an attempt was made to invoke the Defense Production Act to prevent 3M from exporting masks and respirators. ... [/url] When reading the executive order , one notices that a key passage (highlighted in purple bold italics, below) is repeated throughout the Order: "...Secretary of Agriculture shall use the authority under section 101 of the Act, in consultation with the heads of such other executive departments and agencies as he deems appropriate, to determine the proper nationwide priorities and allocation of all the materials, services, and facilities necessary to ensure the continued supply of meat and poultry, consistent with the guidance for the operations of meat and poultry processing facilities jointly issued by the CDC and OSHA...." Supermarkets started advertising for immediate job openings at the start of the pandemic hitting the US. The positions are required to re-stock, continuously clean, and deep clean after the stores close. The meat packing industry and its union should have anticipated their workers getting sick and started recruiting temporary workers to fill in. Additionally, they should have modified their workplaces, as other industries have done, to enable social distancing and increased sanitation practices.
  16. There is absolutely no evidence of an upcoming food shortage here in the Southwest. This afternoon I had to go back to the same store to pick up a prescription and noticed tabout ten packages each of two brands of paper towels (Fiora and Brawny) and about six packages of Safeway brand paper towels. Didn't buy any, but saw someone try to buy two packages (limit is one) and the store refused to sell the second one.
  17. Today I saw a rare sight at my local Safeway - a display of toilet paper! At 6:00 PM, no less. Civilization returns to Central Phoenix.

  19. It is the "Shimmer" of its era.
  20. An update on the situation over at Sugar 44 Cabaret:
  21. The kids always become the parents. In your case, it started about 25 years sooner than it does for everyone else. At least you have the apportunity to appreciate it. Thanks, as always, for the update.

I hired him more than 10 years ago. He used the same pics and even back then they were very outdated. One of the most bizarrely disappointing hires ever. Feel free to PM me for details.
  23. Thanks for the tip. The sink is oddly configured and the larger one won't fit. That said, I never have a bag of festering trash in the kitchen. The trash chute is next to my unit, so every night I remove the trash bag, scoop the cats' box, and toss the bag down the chute.
  24. Oh, thank goodness. Same here, but the bags are for litter box product. I also use them as kitchen trash bags. There's not room for a large can, so I bought a small one that hangs off the inside of my undersink cabinet door. Although they now sell bags to fit, it was originally designed for use with plastic grocery bags.
