I'd hire you in a flash if I lived near you..you seem like a good guy. It goes both ways with clients and providers. I have asked the basic questions you mention and have gotten one word responses or snarled at for asking. I do my very best to limit my questions to no more than 2 messages. If I'm interested in someone and they respond respectfully, I hire them.

I have heard he is mostly theraputic versus erotic. He also only does 60 minute sessions when he is working. I agree, though he is pretty hot.

I never try to negotiate rates with a provider. Either I am OK with what they charge or I don't try and hire them. It's a free market and if you can get a certain rate, go for it. If there is someone I really have my eye on, I sometimes pay more than I am normally willing... but that is a special treat, not a regular occurrence. There are 3 guys I have seen regularly for close to a year, and to this point they have not increased rates for me. Not sure if that is because I hire them regularly and tip well or that they just did not go up.

Maybe it's just me, but it seems fake when someone straight is doing this. That's just my personal feeling.

The whole scheduling thing should be just upfront and if clients are Ok with it, fine if not move to someone else. I have run into the scenario many times where providers will only take same day bookings. I did it once, got flaked on so never again. Because the same day only guy flat out told me no, it was too late to book someone who wants advance notice. It is the only day I had on my trip to do something, so I was kind of pissed. The part that really stoked me was the same day guy that flaked had Available Now as his status all day, so what gives? Now I just use my gut feel from the first response I get from a provider. If he is willing to work with my timeframe and need to book in advance, it's all good. If not, next....

I tried to set an appointment with him a few weeks in advance of a business trip and there seemed to be constant confusion about when we were supposed to meet. He was nice, but I did not book because after the third time I didn't trust we would be on the same page. Not sure what the communication barrier was. I chose a different guy and had no issues or regrets with that meeting. Was one, if not the best encounter I have had in this hobby.

I have only been at this about a year and on this forum a few months. I have been fortunate also. I always prepare for the worst with an appt.. never have wallet with me, fingerprint entry to phone and pay for hotel with a card that only has a 500 limit on it. I also pay cash on a first meeting (and never upfront) and I hide the cash somewhere in the room. Once I know someone, I loosen some things up. I also veer toward providers that are reviewed well and the reviews feel legit. I also check the other relevant things from their ads such as the quality of how their ad is written, picture quality, etc. Now that I am on this forum, I look up anyone I am considering. But for me, one of the most important is I stick to locals versus travelers. It took me months before I booked someone the first time, but I knew who was local to my area and luckily I have made solid relationships with 5 guys I do repeat business with, one that now comes to my house. Feeling comfortable going into a session versus worrying if you are going to get scammed makes things much more enjoyable.

There is massage for sure, but a lot of body to body. I have seen Golden three times and the first time was very much massage oriented and the last 2 have been a mix of massage and play. My take is when he doesn't know you that well, he sticks with the massage (first time he had his shorts on through the session). If you encourage more play, he will go with the flow. There are days that is exactly what I am looking for and if not, I will book someone else. My take is he is being respectful of boundaries at first until he knows what they are. I really did not share what I was looking for as I like the session to be a little spontaneous. By now however, he knows what I like.
