    For a while there were a lot of Brazilians from Spain working Paragonya in Zurich. Other escorts started complaining they were working without Swiss permits. 

    It surprises me how they boast about how easy it is to get a “student” visa. There are a myriad of american languages schools in midtown that provide this service. The surprising thing is that no one questions it…lol.  Once they get here, they charge 350 a session… or 2K overnight and make a lot of cash.  The one I know even charges me for MTA metrofare so he makes his full ask. I‘ve stopped seeing him when he said his new rate is 400.  Work a few months and travel to another city.

    A few brazilian strippers/ escorts I've seen in new york come in as "students"... They have hot bodies but have been perpetually students for the past 10 years. They cycle through new york  then to spain then brazil to avoid overstaying.

    he quoted me $600 for an hour with caveat less for additional hours but I like an initial meeting to be the hour only in case it’s not great 

    I won’t be taking that spin - feel like the market is $300-$400 generally 

    I don't think it will drive up prices... the prices are not listed so they don't really know the competition (or do they???)

    Yes... I'm tempted.. Quiet week for me. My 3 regulars are busy: 1 at a swim meet, the other away at a conference and the other one I saw 2 days ago... I feel I'm going to be yielding to temptation very soon.

On top of that, a member of the board shares with me yesterday that she (the president) is having issues at her work, a school, with the principal and is therefore taking early retirement. Hence she's having issues with leadership figures in two different major facets of her life.

    Isn‘t the CEO the head? I thought the managing director/ chair reports to the CEO?

    You did nothing wrong. In fact, you tried to help her save face by correcting misinformation she presented. Interacting with those types of individuals can be quite tiresome. I‘m sure it occurs across all types of work/ industries. I‘m lucky not to have any part of that in my life…lol.

    I enjoyed it for what it was. It‘s becoming quite a formulaic success for Julian Fellowes depicting class struggle, catty women downstairs, scheming women upstairs, a (poterntial) gay storyline…  But, for anyone comparing it with Downton Abbey would be let down. Otherwise, a fun little trifle. Loved Christine Baranski.
