  1. Hoping daddy pulls through this. I am helping friends ' senior parents book appointments in NY and NJ as the myriad of websites are confusing and working from home, i'm more effective and have more free time to do other things. One friend kept on pushing off different locations I found for his high-risk (diabetic, obese, heart failure) 90 year old father claiming that the locations were either too far away or a megasite... the day before his scheduled appointment at a closer spot, he became incoherent and unconscious and was taken to the ER where they diagnosed him with COVID. He's pulling through and transitioned to a stepdown, but it goes to show that getting that vaccine is very important. It probably would have helped my friend's dad as he pushed his appointments more than 10 days out til he found the perfect, easiest location.

  2. For those who know some of the Czech guys. I talk with a couple almost every day and, while vaccination has now reached 5%, they are having the worst surge in Europe and Czech is totally locked-down with 8pm curfews and with even inter-city travel banned.

PRAGUE — The Czech Republic is negotiating with Germany and other European countries to treat its COVID-19 patients as hospitals fill up.

Interior Minister Jan Hamacek says 19 beds are ready for the Czech patients in neighboring Germany, which has offered to treat dozens. He says Switzerland has offered another 20 beds in its hospitals, including taking care of the transportation. Talks are also under way with Poland that could provide some 200 beds.

The Czech Republic is one of the hardest hit European Union countries. New confirmed cases reached 16,642 on Tuesday, the fourth highest since the start of the pandemic. There’s a record of more than 8,000 COVID-19 patients needing hospitalization.

Some hospitals in western Czech Republic near the German border and in the central Pardubice region cannot take more patients. The nation of 10.7 million had almost 1.3 million confirmed cases with almost 21,000 deaths.

BRATISLAVA, Slovakia — Slovakia is tightening restrictive measures in a bid to halt the spread of a highly contagious coronavirus variant first found in Britain.

Starting Wednesday, Slovakia, one of the hardest-hit European Union countries, is imposing a nationwide curfew between 8 p.m. and 1 a.m.

Authorities are also tightening rules for international travelers Wednesday to try to prevent virus variants from spreading or entering the country. Police and military officers are set to enforce the new measures by re-imposing border checks for 24 hours a day on all major border crossings with Austria, the Czech Republic, Hungary and Poland.

In Slovakia’s already tight lockdown, people in counties where the virus situation is considered serious need to take a test every seven days to be able to go to work.

Doesn‘t sound like a good time to visit now... though hopefully sometime later end of the year. Thanks for sharing.

  3. For gifts, i usually get something personal that they may like or need, like Bose noise-canceling headphones for an upcoming trip. Or Vilebrequin shorts for a tropical jaunt.

For clothes, usually I get them Burberry sweaters or an Hermes tie. Those are safe choices and everyone loves them. For those I don't really know well, just nice underwear.

The ones I really like, I take them out for a nice long kaiseki dinner.

  4. When I first started working, my priority was not really escorts and at that time, sex was readily available in bathhouses lol. I was more focused on purchasing my condo, traveling, and spending time with friends. But you should do what is comfortable for you and your lifestyle. Do you second guess whether you can go out for dinner with friends? Do you have to think twice about a material purchase? If so, perhaps allocate a smaller amount for "entertainment". I think when I started working in the late 90s in new york, I would hire about once a month - in those days there were escort agencies in the new york area (i.e., paramount, A list, campus escorts). Now (before pandemic), i would hire 2 or 3 times a week...lol.

  5. the fact that I can turn on SiriusXM anywhere I'm driving (very rural areas) and get very reliable reception and a huge variety of music, comedy, news - and no commercials (on the music channels) - is worth some bank......

but I'm still going to haggle at the next renewal!!!

    .

I agree. On a roadtrip to Philly, i turned on Sirius and Beethoven's Pastoral was playing on Symphony Hall and I just knew it would be a very pleasant drive. Also enjoy it on Alexa at home.

  7. I got Sirius subscription with my car, but once it lapsed, I stopped as I thought there would be enough to listen to on the regular radio and audible. They kept on sending me promotion after promotion. That finally, i took the best one that they had: 3 dollars a month for 3 years. I don't think they give out those deals anymore. BBC World Service is my favorite channel.

  8. Hey guys,

I currently live in Hell’s Kitchen with a doorman and thinking of moving to Chelsea. I found a beautiful 750sq one bedroom on 19th and 9th. It’s about 5 mins from 14, 23rd and 18th subways. Would a 3 floor walk up be a issue for clients?

Wow... I'm nearby..lol. Great neighborhood, bakeries and galleries. Away from hustle of 8th, yet close enough. Go for it~
