  1. Hi,

my second hobby is watching all type of movies, and now that some of us will have a lot of time to kill, here a couple of online sites that have a good selection of popular and obscure gay-themed movies; not all of them are good but I found some interesting ones about hustlers, older-younger relationships and some oldies that I 've heard before but I was never able to see.

I use a good VPN, so I hope you guys use one too; I have watched movies on these sites for over a year and I never have a problem, but be cautious. There are a lot of foreign films with subtitles with a lot of beautiful guys.

    enjoy:

Thank you for the links! Do you have any for mainstream movies?

  2. The subway is probably cleaner, given that transit agencies are stepping up their cleaning practices. I highly doubt Uber drivers are completely sanitizing their cars every day.

It would be great if they would sanitize after every ride... who knows whether the passenger before you was infected or not. Uber claims to be increasing their cleaning efforts, but who knows how much of this is true. it is all dependent on the individual driver.

  3. I like his new ad that ends "Due to Coronavirus, I'm not going out in public or taking subway. Uber would be appreciated. "

Does he think sex is going to be less risky than taking public transport? At least taking transport, one can cover themselves. Does he expect to just show up at your door and let you look at him and jerk off at a distance of more than 4.5 meters?

  4. And also as someone who has been on that side of theses propositions and arrangements, there is always some anxiety of not knowing who or how this person, clearly with more money than I, functions. So while you may think oh this popular guy with so much following and clout could ruin me somehow, they too will think, ah this guy propositioning me could be some really powerful person or something, better be careful.

I met one of my regulars when he advertised on RM a few years ago. However, if I saw his instagram (which I know now) and saw how many fancy places he was invited to, and the fabulous lifestyle he leads, I doubt i'd be bold enough to reach out... fearing rejection for not being able to afford to meet him....but nothing ventured, nothing gained. I'm glad he has kept me at his initial rates. Instagram is interesting as I see other people comment on his cute posts (they could be his model friends as well as other "older" clients and I know one of them as i have seen the same pictures taken on his RM ad at the client's abode).

Perhaps Seeking would be a better venue as it serves as a platform for more commercial exchanges, but it probably wouldn't be as fun of a chase as instagram :)

  5. Don’t know anything about the San Juan hotel, but I’ve stayed at the Royal Palm https://www.royalpalmsouthbeach.com/

Nice hotel, large assortment of rooms, older, refurbished, somewhat edgy decor for me, but shower big enough for two, and friendly staff. Part of the Marriott Bonvoy Tribute portfolio, so can use points, and the fifth night is free. It’s at 15th and Collins, with direct access to the beach. Right next door to the Loews.

I was thinking about possibly heading down there next week (it’s rainy in Hawaii now). Thanks for the info on The Betsy @cany10011 . Can walk over and check out the music.

Enjoy the jazz! Hope you have a safe flight (if you decide to travel). Definitely a nice departure from the dance music at Twist (had a few nice lap dances with an italian gogo dancer)...

  6. I’ve written about this in another thread but my knowledge is this: this model we’re speaking about –Rentmen ads, hot guys, in calls out calls, maybe massage, rate per hour– has been a successful upper middle class Western model for awhile. But with the emergence of dating apps (which I mostly don’t think are factoring into price ~hikes~ more likely the opposite) and social media, especially hypervisual and seemingly personal Instagram, this model is being decently challenged. A site like Instagram is the perfect forum to see someone super attractive, see their life on a regular basis and develop a feeling of connection, and then right there in the corner is that DMs button or an email on their profile to potentially speak directly with and even solicit business, of any kind!, to the desired person.

With an emerging Eurasian middle class and a globalized first class Instagram is like a perfect catalog for all manner of rewarding connection whether showcasing beautiful, popular people for tourism hotels gyms or parties, or something more private maybe even intimate.

And each of these guys, so called influencers or models or trainers or travelers, can engage and decide on a case by case basis how far he’s willing to go, literally and metaphorically, to achieve the rewards of business, travel, career advancement, and indeed money. And that money is usually big money (a few grand for a meeting) because of all this aura or desirability around their cyber persona puts this person in command of what they accept or don’t accept as worth them escorting as “non-escorts”. Make sense?

Buyers would hardly have control over that market the way they can steadily do so over Rentmen and the like where it’s all a clear cut mode of business, supply demand.

Now my point is this, many escorts may well be in this realm of international cyber popularity or they may see plenty of guys who look like them who are popular and reaping those benefits while they aren’t and think to themselves, wait there actually are way bigger stakes to play or bigger fish to catch!

It may not be the reliable steadiness of the Rentmen model, but if the right guy is ambitious enough, it could well be a lot more exciting and potentially more rewarding in the long-run to pursue. And that will certainly lead to a price hike particularly in major cosmopolitan areas.

If and when one becomes aware of new heights to reach –whether that’s as a model escort influencer blah blah learning there are men willing to pay thousands for a night or day or few with you, OR as a connoisseur learning that wow that hot model I see on Instagram could meet in person for the right offer, I’ll save up because I really like him– you can be sure many will aim for them.

Sounds like an interesting "model". However, if I propose to the influencer a more private, intimate gathering and he is turned off by the invite, can he somehow retaliate and shame me in front of my other friends on instagram? I've never done this before and have limited know how. Should I open up a separate instagram just for private pursuits?

  7. Should I know who Singer Sargeant is? I'll look him up. But as of now, unless reading something jogs a memory, I got bupkiss.

    Gman

Addendum: After reading about him, I have heard of him before-mea culpa. He wasn't a memory I could easily recall without a bit of jogging.

Sorry.. he‘s an american portrait painter... well known for his etheral quick brush strokes and depictions of high society. If you are in the New York area, there are great paintings of his at the Met (Madam X), Philadelphia‘s museum of art (In the Luxembourg Gardens) and also Boston’s MFA (Daughters of Edward Boit). All quite recognizable.

  8. I don’t advertise ??‍♂️ Though these stories inspire me to take the plunge for a few days and see who clicks, but can’t really maintain an advert because of day job/life.

That said escorting is one arena of business where one could potentially make more by not advertising. I guess because of stigma and male instincts towards especially having what’s not available, there’s a whole world of Instagram solicitation and connection. Many of the popular guys receive offers in the thousands for a date and can pick and choose how to engage it accordingly. Even when I had just a few thousand followers, I met at least a handful of clients via my private messages. Being that most of the men here are longtime connoisseurs of a particular well-working model, I don’t imagine paying exponential fees for someone just because they’re cute on Instagram sounds sensible let alone appealing. But there is definitely an emerging new mode and it’s much bigger money. Even a small few of guys I know who do advertise on Rentmen but have very popular Instagram and word of mouth businesses are charging a grand or more for just a session. So while I’ve read threads on here bemoaning the potentially for “amateurs” on Grindr or even Seeking to drag market prices lower, there is a great potential that the possibilities for very luxury escorting connection via social media could alternatively drag prices higher (and most of the guys I’ve seen reviewed here charging at least 500/ hour I know have fairly popular social media as well). Whether the Rentmen model stays as a stable middle, we’ll see, but I’m sure it shall for at least a while.

    Great discussion and insights. Thanks!

  9. Thanks for sharing the link AZD. It’s a little disconcerting that they don’t really have a gallery of pictures of the hotel, just of the rooms. If you are looking for a boutique hotel something close to the beach, might I suggest the Betsy hotel? I stayed there last week and it is a very charming luxury hotel with ocean views and a nice art collection. Great onsite restaurant from Tourondel. It is on 14th and Ocean and has beach access with attendants who will set up a chair, umbrella and provide towels. Very nice and accomodating. The website is https://www.thebetsyhotel.com/

  10. I hardly want to make social dinner plans that require taking the subway and have purchased an elliptical machine for my home to avoid going across the street to my gym. So, no; i wouldn’t take a cruise right now. Even upcoming work conferences in May have been canceled.

  11. I saw Agrippina last night and loved it. The singing, acting and choreography were all great. I’m glad I got to see Joyce diDonato whose voice is wonderful. Only one word of caution, be ready for a late night. It started at 8 and finished after 11.30.

Yes, it was very long. Saw it on a chilly Monday night at the Met. Sadly, a lot of seats were empty, even in the Grand Tier. Yes, the choreography was great. Loved how they are incorporating more ballet/dance in opera.
