Anything is possible, I suppose, but let's get real. I was demonstrably extremely kind to him, and there is ample documentation of his lies and deceit. He even put my life at risk by exposing me to STD's, treating himself but not telling me. To make things even better, his legal status in this country ends when his studies do, in 5 weeks or so. I'm a well-respected physician who's devoted his life to helping the poor and even volunteers his time at a free clinic. You think he'd be a credible and/or sympathetic witness? Any lawyer who would take on his case would really deserve to be locked up in an insane asylum. I would personally go after such a lawyer myself for abuse of process. Bullshit with me, and I'll let you have it.

You are too kind to have any concerns for him. If he is on an F1 visa, it would not be too difficult for a company to “sponsor” him for OPT training. Or, I’m sure he is already on SA and looking for another sponsor.

I have long used PM's to get additional information about guys mentioned here. Over the years, I have been directed to some real gems and avoided some bad situations -- and, I hope, have provided the same service to others. Only very rarely have I not received a response to a private query (less than once a year).

 

In the 10 days since nsguy45 started the thread on the dangers of PM's, 2 PM's I sent have have languished unanswered. I can't help wondering if this is coincidence or a direct effect of nsguy45's warning. Has anyone else experienced this?

I generally don‘t respond to PM’s that say “ hey, tell me about xxx”... or if it is from a poster i do not recognize. No greetings, no introduction or anything. Never sure if it could be a trap or something.

I just watched the first episode of season 2. I just like looking at Dario Bernal... so cute.

500 sq ft is nice for a hotel room. Actually large. 600 plus is not out of line. Actually is quite reasonable. My aunt stayed at the Langham for 3 months while her place was being redecorated - so can only imagine that bill.
