  1. On business trips, I usually have work dinners that run into who knows how long. I always book my dates around 10:30 with the warning that it may be slightly later if dinner runs late. That way I don’t have to stress about looking for someone after dinner and the escort has an idea that the time may run a little later. I do try to aim for earlier if i don’t have plans as I would hate to have the escort wait in the lobby as most elevators require card access during the late hours.

  2. It's a little gay, but I love my silk pillowcases and bedsheets. I alternate them with my Frette and Restoration Hardware linens. I also use a summer weight silk floss duvet for most of the year and use a heavier weight for the winter months. I usually cover up my bed with a double ply secondary flat sheets for playtime to minimize spoiling the duvet cover.

  3. Regarding the gym, I hear gents at the gym talk openly and loudly so everyone can hear not so subtlety and hinting about buying a new unit at Hudson Yards or building a vacation home in the BVI, etc.. I find that loud talk obnoxious, but it may be advertising for other studs to be “friendly” to them in the steam room. Then there are the cute guys who walk around in their sexy underwear, preening in the full length mirrors so everyone can gaze upon them, or parading around naked. The locker room is such a fun place to people watch.

  4. An escort i see fairly routinely tells me that his busiest hours are after 10 pm... usually he does 2 or sometimes 3 calls between then and 4 am- all spontaneous, unplanned bookings. I couldn’t imagine doing that but then again, i’m not that young and need my beauty sleep. I usually book him for the ungodly hour of 7 or 8 pm dinner followed by some play.

  5. I nearly absolutely refuse to pay for uber to get to my place. Why should I pay for someone's uber when I am OK with taking the subway myself? And, I live in a very convenient location, and I don't request late appointments. Yes, it does add up. I'd rather pay the escort a higher fee than negotiate ordering an uber, asking him for his address, hoping the driver picks him up, etc... It's far more complicated than my little head can deal with. The last time i succumbed to paying for uber, the escort was already 300 and he was a dud and did not look exactly like his pictures sadly.

  6. The question might be..Why are US escorts so expensive?

I travel all over and Europe has the best of the best at reasonable fees. (also much less BS)

London the 150 Euro is average...the same for Barcelona and Madrid.

I have had multiple overnights for less than 500 Euros and dinner

Also have had great times and reasonable fees in Paris...

I met a latvian escort totally my type online who quoted a 5 night rate of 1000 euros for the entire trip. Yes, the prices in the US, esp NYC are high, but so are our salaries.

  7. I thought the French kiss greeting was an urban legend...I usually shake their hands and introduce my first name. I don’t think I’ve kissed a new guy upon the first minutes of meeting him.

I’m somewhat hesitant to hire unknowns/ unreviewed escorts. There’s always a feeling of fear/anxiety mixed with lusty anticipation when hiring someone new (not knowing if they are cops or not, or some serial killer).

  8. A trans woman I know was just bitching because she got hit on by a guy for her phone number. I told her she should view her transition as successful and it was okay to be grossed out by it.

My trans friend also gets a lot more hot guys than she did pre-transition as a gay man.

  9. I have one but rarely use it or often forget to bring it. It is a great idea though if you don’t like to use in-room coffee machines or don’t want to traipse down the hotel hallway, down the elevators, and queue with others/ run into your colleagues when you aren’t totally up yet.

This is a good topic. What other things to people bring on their trips to make life more bearable??? Lol.

  10. It wasn't that long ago. There may still be people around who could confirm or refute. My sister-in-law's partner was a small child when the Russians were sweeping westward at the end of the war. She remembers frantically scraping together a few clothes and belongings and making a mad dash for the last train out before the Russians captured their town.

I found it hard to imagine escaping byelorusse/ russia with a piano, let alone a grand, but my classmate‘s grandmother was a russian piano teacher who taught in Paris. She’s no longer around, and her family eventually landed in Canada. So it‘s totally possible the Bosendorfer came with from Russia or France...oh, the stories the piano could tell.
