Only answering your questions here, though there are other details some may want to know about.
There's no stage show. Entertainers wander the room fully naked. Some entertainers will be much more popular than others.
The lapdance area is fairly dark and one big room. Not private. Several chairs/sofas with other lapdances going on near you. You.can ask your guy to find a less crowded spot if available.
Show up 30-60 minutes after starting time. There will be several customers and several entertainers already. Some customers sit along the side of the room and watch and others chat up other customers or entertainers. Be ready for the entertainers to approach you trying to drum up business. Bring a variety of dollar bill denominations.

Now,  I know no politics,  but I want to commend this woman for what she did for the gay community.       Yes,  she probably needed to retire,  but she was amazing for her contributions.

I have endless respect for the Senator.   Like many of them (cough Strom Thurman cough), she stayed too long. But her overall legacy of service is admirable.

Yup.  Matt's post announcing a Miami Club is now gone from his FB page...so I guess it wasn't meant to be.  I'm really looking forward to a club opening in Atlanta.  I hope it's full nudity too!!

Don't book your flight just yet as it seems everything has changed.  According to Matt's facebook page, the idea for a Miami club has been scrapped.  I'm pleased they are not planning to add another club in Florida.  Next stop Atlanta!

After lots of debate, decided Miami wasn’t the right move at this time. Tampa isn’t there yet and Atlanta opens by the end of the year.

EZEtoGRU reacted to soloyo215 in Barcelona - Sauna Thermas - It only got better!
I went twice in the past two weeks. I'm currently vacationing in Barcelona. The first time I went was on a Tuesday afternoon and it was pouring rain. The place was not too full of people, and there were mostly young guys, but none of them I could characterize as muscular. Also, I didn't see a single one from Spain, if that matters to you. I hooked up with a young guy from the Dominican republic and got the worst BJ I've ever had in my life. He did seem very inexperienced at everything, from the moment he approached me, immediately offered me a considerable discount from the rather overpriced rate, and he was just awkward. Left after that because the place didn't feel right for me.
The second time was in the early evening, and there were many guys to choose from, some muscular, but most twink types, with one or two with a few strings of grey. That time I had a "massage" with a nice young Colombian man who actually knew well how to give massages. The extras were just ok. Didn't up-sell for more. Then after that I got a nice young Cuban man. I don't know what to say about this, maybe it was what I was projecting or who knows what, but the session felt more like a therapy session. We literally stopped to start talking about anxiety medication, his past addiction treatment and my OCD. If that was a trick for him to get the money without any action, who knows. However, I did take some time to talk to him at the bar before going into a room. He told me that the vast majority of his clients there don't talk much and go "to the point". Who knows.
There were many other guys who look really good, and they were diverse in type, role and physical appearance. The facilities are good, rates are up for negotiation, guys are friendly and not pushy (they get the "no" right away if you say no). However, it seems like the muscle guys expect to be approached. Not a one went to anyone asking for anything, at least when I was there. The address of the place is easy to find and feels like a safe neighborhood, and the process of entering and paying is easy. All-in-all is a good place. I'm still evaluating if it is for me.
This is my first time trying a place like this in my entire life, so I personally wouldn't count my experience as something that is what usually one can get in a place like that. Just my two cents.

Unfortunately things have changed with the newer generation. I do remember there been groups for people exactly like you, gay men in heterosexual marriages. They were support groups, but they also have social venues. And of course, they were not hookups nor sexual in nature.
I found the psychotherapy network web page that might have information on it:

Not specifically for men who are in your situation, but Philadelphia has the LGBT Elder Initiative, which can provide resources for your particular situation:
Seniors — William Way Community Center
WWW.WAYGAY.ORG I think your approach to ignoring negativity is great, but it might depend on what you consider negative. Sometimes there are things that are not attacks, just things we don't like hearing.

I don't know about recently, but police raids on (straight) saunas in Brazil were frequently followed the next day by pictures in the paper of a bunch of middle-aged men in towels being arrested.  The unspoken message to other saunas was to keep up their payment to local police officials in order to avoid the same fate.  Not saying that is the same situation as we currently see in Texas...which is a sting.

I think we had another thread about this when Texas passed the statute that treats solicitation at a felony.  While it seems the recent sting operations focused mostly on heterosexual male clients, there's nothing that prevents them from targeting gay clients in the future.  An ambitious DA or sheriff with plans to run for higher office would just see gay clients as yet another unsympathetic demographic they can use for easy convictions.
If hiring in Texas, I'd stay with ads on RM for well established providers and avoid any ads that are very new with no reviews.   I'd definitely avoid A4A or Backpage type sites.

Did you read the whole post? Doesn't seem so. And big pension funds are known to vote down remuneration reports.

We act as if car makers charge 50k and up for vehicles just to roll around in obscene profits. But look what they put in cars now. A car is a computer system on wheels. We all want cars that obey voice commands, pick up high resolution internet, steer themselves, start instantly when we sit down in the seat, drive perfectly, roll precisely, stop themselves to avoid an accident. We want them with fancy cameras, fabulous sound systems, clean running engines, and self controlled this and that. All that jazzy technology ain't cheap. We want cars that practically drive themselves just so we can go clap clap to "We Will Rock You" without touching braking, steering, or accelerating. I hate the price of cars as well. I got a price for a new mid size, middle of the road american vehicle that would have cost me upwards of $700 a month. I could have vomited. But if I wanted all that fancy stuff they are going to make me pay for it. GM ain't covering my note. Vehicles are so damn expensive because we consumers demand all the tech. Want a cheaper car? Grab something from the 70's with no A/C and "three in the tree."  YIKES!!!!
