To imitate what Bette Davis said on learning of Joan Crawford's passing, speaking only good of the dead: Pat Robertson is dead. Good.

No.  I got the 2nd dose exactly when I was supposed to(scheduled on my initial visit)  My infant vaccine records were not clear on whether I had the smallpox vaccine or not so I did the entire Monkeypox regimen.

You're getting really tiresome. I started what was going to be a very long discourse to respond to your post until I realized it would be a total waste of time.
Why are you so obsessed with what other people think and talk about?  You can write post after post after post on this obscure, virtually impossible-to-find Internet forum yet still fail to change what even one single member here thinks and says -- forget changing the thinking of society at large.
But hey, if you enjoy wagging your finger at people, dictating how they should think, controlling what they talk about, post away to your heart's content.  Thank God for the "ignore" setting.

Three nights in Montreal starting last Thursday. Took AA First TPA/CTL/YUL. Awesome service on each leg. Admirals Club in Charlotte has a nice breakfast buffet and great Bloody Marys. Immigration was FAST and without any of the attitude I used to get pre-pandemic. Checked into the Hyatt Place (formerly the Gouverneur). WOW what a change. I can say that they literally gutted the place. It looks beautiful. By 4pm I was at Campus.
Daddy's Corner is the remodeled Shooter Bar. They did a great job. FUN bartender, used to work as a near by Karaoke Bar. 4-5 dancers working the pole, the bar and the customers. Haven't had afternoon lap dances in years. Stayed busy throughout the night.

Stopped into Stock around 10pm. Haven't been in YEARS. I did not recognize the place. They have done a lot of work and it looks really good. Stock was busy too. Plenty of hot men providing sexy quick dances and slow, FULL ON INVITING dances. Stayed until about 1am. After being up for almost 24 hours, time to pass out.

Similar experiences on Friday and Saturday. Late night St. Catherine St was crowded with pedestrians. Restaurants and Bars that have already built their Summer Terraces were PACKED. So good to see great energy.

Planning another trip this fall ahead of the cold winder weather. It was a FUN time!

    Thursday 25th:
I arrived at Campus at 9 pm, and it wasn't too crowded, just about 3 or 4 dancers. On Thursdays and Sundays, the club charges $6 and offers a coat check. On the following day 4 pm at Daddy’s Corner, it looked mostly the same, except for an additional bar on the right side. I think it has always been there, but it opened at 3 pm. The area in front of the stage was now dark.
    back to Thursday night:
Then, there was a stunning young goth-like dancer, who could pass for . He had dark black hair, beautiful pale skin, and a tall, slender figure. We had a great time together. As the night progressed, more dancers appeared, about 12 dancer la by 11 :30ish pm. One of my favorite boys was a short, muscular blonde hottie, around 21 years old. As expected, he was in high demand, and it was hard for him to make it past the entrance to the lap room. But we managed to spend some quality time together. Another new dancer, who was also quite popular, caught my attention. By 11 pm, the place filled up, but it wasn't overwhelmingly crowded. There was a contest for the best upcoming stripper, although I don't think it was for this weekend. Malik announced it, and he presented the amateur stripper with an olive wreath /olive leaves crown. As a winner I hope he is included in the dancing schedule. Gorgeous Mediterranean 19/20ish  what a masterpiece of a guy or  at lest from far
Next, I visited Stock Bar, which had also undergone some changes. They now had a $6 entrance fee and moved door entrance to the side, where the coat check was located. The layout of Stock is now narrower, and the large left bar is much smaller. At that time 11ish Inside, there weren't many people, and I only saw one new dancer, along with two others I recognized from my previous visits.
you are going to see a lot of 11insh PM but it was between 9 and 1:00 am
I then headed to Taboo, but it was quite slow, with only a couple of patrons. I spotted one hot young blonde dancer, and there were two more that I hadn't seen before. They seemed to fit into the fem twink category, which isn't really my type. It was better to stay at Campus where there was a nice atmosphere and a variety of dancers to suit different tastes.
Later, I went to Expose, but it was nearly empty, maybe just one dancer outside talking. So, I decided to go back to Stock Bar. It was still empty, and the only dancer I recognized was my old friend Casper. We decided to have a dance, but he seemed distant, so I chose to leave. As I walked outside near the Unity club, I came across two hot young guys smoking. They offered me a smoke since I had a couple of drinks i  was bold enough to talk to them, well, it. was also in the Stock / Unity club sidewalk, with plenty of people and the bouncers for each club. The boys said they were from Afghanistan, and we planned to meet up later for some drinks.
Eventually, I found myself back at Campus. There were a few dancers, but none of them caught my attention. Instead, I decided to have another drink. Around 1:00 am, a new dancer caught my eye, and I patiently waited for his performance. He turned out to be fantastic, possibly Italian-Canadian. All in all, it was a great Thursday, and I'm eagerly looking forward to tonight. I'll post more about how it goes!

that’s not how social media algorithms work.  An algorithm will feed you stories & information that you already agree with, or is predicted you will like, based upon the vast information they already have about all your internet habits.  The use of algorithms is to keep you engaged and online, preferably in an agitated state where you will continue high levels of engagement.
Social media algorithms do not give you contrary information to your beliefs or likes because that would lead to less engagement.  Less engagement means less time online which means less money for social media companies.
Thus, whatever your beliefs and values, social media is engineered to reinforce those beliefs and feed you more to the point of radicalization.  It’s on both sides - not partisan.
This is good - you have connected your distaste for H&M to a core belief which is offensive to you.  Most people don’t get that far.

The question I’d ask is, why is this “cult of victimhood” an irritant for you ?  That too may be something that is not really the core issue.
Usually if things don’t bother me in my day to day living, I shrug it off.  I can’t imagine a scenario in my daily life where the cult of victimhood could be a thing.  I’m more likely to be bothered by my neighbors who can’t park right and makes it more difficult for me in getting in/out of my garage - literally everyday & multiple times a day.
I try not to devote any time or attention to things that cause negative intense feelings & there is nothing I can do to change it - because that’s a trap and the ultimate self-inflicted mind-fuck.
Maybe you’re surrounded by victims ?  Or, have family history where victim behavior was common ?  Or, maybe it’s something else entirely ?  But, what it’s not is Harry & Meghan - it’s not like you’re going to run into them at a party and you will be subjected to them.  You’re likely choosing to consume information about them given you have total control over your media sources - the question is why consume that information if it’s so distasteful ?  That’s like drinking something that tastes awful.

If this obsession were unique to this forum your point would be well made, but the obsession the public (or some elements of it) have with shouting its disdain for their alleged pursuit of ever greater publicity is pervasive. The observation, that continuing to write about something that the writer claims to want not to see written or spoken about is illogical, is exactly on point. This forum's obscurity is beside the point, the critique of this forum's discussion of the issue is both particular to it, and at the same time a critique of it as a wider phenomenon. Dismissing the particular implies dismissal of that wider phenomenon.

Pretty fun. Went two nights in a row. It’s hit or miss if the 15 or so gogo boys walking around are playful. But I found a fun one. They’re all pretty hot. I’d say 50/50 straight vs gay. Crowd gets going around 11p on Wed and Thurs. A good night overall.

Whilst I miss the politics forum, I don’t miss the right wing extremists on this site having a platform to push their hate and lies. I have always believed that the only way a politics forum can survive on this site long term is for it to be much more actively moderated/managed than it was.   If that isn’t possible, then the politics forum is better off dead.
