I'm hoping to get to Europe in September or October to take advantage of the weak Euro and Pound.  I'm waiting till the crazy summer travel is over and airports are somewhat back to normal.  Also, I want to get my monkey pox vaccine before I go.  I have decided not to have any intimate encounters until after I'm vaccinated.

I know there are several varieties, I currently have a tree in my yard that is about 7 years old, and I hate it! The tree is more of a bush, and it is a cross with a cumquat and a key lime and have yet to get a decent tasting key lime from it. The nursery owner told me when I bought it that I would never know it was a cross pollinated tree, she was wrong. The variety that I need to plant in my yard is the Mexican Key Lime tree that is a regular tree. I need to get one soon as they are usually just available in summer months. Once I get the new key lime tree this other one is coming out!

I've never had decent Key Lime Pie outside of South Florida.  I'm sure it exists somewhere but I've never found it.  You must have key limes to make it or it won't be as good as it should be.  I lived in Miami during most of the 1990's so I had ample opportunity to enjoy excellent Key Lime Pie.  Joe's Sone Crab was my favorite.  We still order the KLP from Joe's.  It ships overnight via Fedex and is packed in dry ice.  So good.

Face or neck tattoos?   No...full stop!  Other tattoos on the body?  It depends.  One or two are OK but...why ruin a perfectly good body with a bunch of tattoos?  I still don't get it.

It might be a good time to go to Europe as the Euro is quite low. Almost equal to the dollar!
nytimes.com: The euro fell to a 20-year low against the U.S. dollar on Tuesday, as fears about the European economy weighed heavily on the currency. This was the most prominent sign of renewed economic worries around the world, which were also reflected in stocks wobbling and oil prices falling sharply.
...The euro’s move brought it closer to parity with the dollar, with one euro trading for about $1.025, its lowest level since 2002. Many analysts have said it is only a matter of time before the euro reaches a one-to-one exchange rate with the dollar, as European economies struggle with high inflation, labor unrest and turmoil in energy markets.

Just got my appointment for Sunday.  NYC released a new batch today and this time the website didn't crash, but all slots (who you callin' a slot?) were filled in three minutes.

I wouldn't.  I generally dislike tattoos, but especially those on the face, neck and fingers.

The World News tonight said she was found at the bottom of the stairs in her NYC apartment/condo.  Emergency services called.  She was declared dead in her home.  No immediate evidence of foul play.

As far as I recall, Stock has not had afternoon hours for many years.  They open at 8:00pm.  Campus used to have quite an active afternoon scene(starting at 3:00pm) 8-10 years ago and before.  But that had reduced substantially even before the pandemic.  I have not been to Montreal since before the pandemic, but I've heard that the Campus afternoon scene is very quiet now.  Sometimes not a single dancer seen until 6:00pm.

Sounds like the mortgage has been around for a while, and I'm guessing at a pretty favorable rate compared to today's climate.  If so, perhaps don't rush to pay it off?  Those dollars may be better invested elsewhere, while being subsidized by preferential mortgage interest.  (OTOH, I do understand the temptation to be free & clear.)

They're both great choices...and very different. Mr. Saturday Night is funny, better-than-decent score, Billy Crystal doing his thing. Into the Woods is funny, Sondheim, great cast. Since you're seeing Company, I might suggest ITW as a good Sondheimian juxtaposition, but if you're not a huge fan, then Billy Crystal won't let you down.

How odd. I just re-read the entire thread and I don't detect a hint of self-loathing from any poster. I note that people have personal preferences, likes, & dislikes. So what? Why are you so offended by this? Why must we all acquiesce to what your vision of masculinity is?

I've thought that the Euro was over-valued for many years.  I think parity with the dollar is about right where it should be.  I also see a trip to Europe in my future later in the year.

BTW the British pound has also lost a lot of value recently which makes the UK cheaper for Americans.

@KensingtonHomo– Oh, there’s always a response. My response is to live my life because I’ve followed the reasonable precautions when it was an acute situation. It’s not acute now. 350 deaths a day? That stat seems low me, actually, given all the handwringing, but okay. We’ll go with it. Some math…some facts, not feelings, opinions, or blame. Cold numbers. 350 daily deaths accounts for 0.000106% of the US population, or 1.06 persons per 1 million. On average, 100 people die in car accidents every day in the US. Not as high as 350, but still not a negligible amount. About 1600 people die every day from cancer in the US. About 2300 deaths a day in the US from cardiovascular disease. About 400 daily deaths in the US immediately traceable to strokes. And 130 daily suicides on average in the US. Maybe 350 deaths a day is…gasp!…just a stat at this point.

What's tragically comical is that that that you have argued for months that COVID hospitalizations were not increasing.  Now you matter-of-factly acknowledge that Michigan COVID hospitalizations have more than doubled since April 1.  In the same breath, you say "nearly nobody is getting sick BECAUSE of the virus".  News flash:  Being hospitalized due to COVID means you're getting sick because of COVID.
Honestly, just throw in the towel.  Your theories have been fully debunked.  The curtain has been pulled back great wizard.  The gig's up.  Omicron is raging.  Hospitalizations are up everywhere (which you have consistently denied until today).  COVID isn't over.

You must have been looking in the mirror when you composed this line.
Meanwhile COVID hospitalizations are up again this week in Michigan.  This is now 6-7 weeks of continuous increases in COVID hospitalizations in the state.  From 473 persons hospitalized on April 1 to 1146 on May 18.  Hospitalizations in Michigan have more than doubled since April 1.   Yet our faux doctor is pushing the theory that no-one is getting sick from Omicron in the US.  Complete B.S. and he knows it.  The test positivity rate is running between 14-18% here depending on the day so we have a high rate of transmission resulting in a continuous increase in COVID hospitalizations.  This has been going on now since the end of March.
