Gay Pride Montreal will be August 9-15.  Perfect timing with the border re-opening on August 9th.  Here's the link to Pride Festival:

I assume that once the border opens to Americans (August 9), the higher quality dancers will return to the clubs...I hope!!  Last night there was a real stunner dancing at Stock (I watch the live feed on-line).  He was a superb dancer with his very unique style.  I will need to see if he dances other nights.  Historically, there are a few dancers that choose to dance only on ladies night.
Anyway, good luck making your choice of where to go.

Well Canada will be open to Americans again beginning August 9th and Montreal has lots of strippers...Toronto too.  There are the usual suspects of South Florida and Atlanta where there are strippers.  Las Vegas is always fun although searing hot in the summer....also not soo many strippers.  Some Las Vegas shows have recommenced.
I don't know if you have lingering COVID concerns...but Florida is having a big spike in COVID delta variant cases currently.  I personally wouldn't go anywhere near Florida right now...but, in the end, it's a personal choice for each individual.  Breakthrough cases are happening to some vaccinated individuals.

I'm not aware of any in the US.  Prior to the existence of the internet, there were male brothels in some other countries...and I am speaking here of non-bathhouse type brothels.  I went to them in Berlin, Amsterdam, Buenos Aires, and London (Villa Gianni).  I had heard of others operating in Madrid, Sydney, & Cape Town but never went to them personally The internet changed things and sex workers mostly moved on-line to negotiate business arrangements directly with customers thereby eliminating the need for a middleman (the brothel).  A few survived...such as Villa Gianni in London which was still operating up until the pandemic.
In conclusion, I think male bordellos are a thing from the past and only continue to exist in a few select situations.

again, you don't know what you post. This only means the land border is closed to Canadians. Americans will be able to drive to Canada starting August 9th.

Actually,  what you can thank Trump for is a completely botched response to the COVID crisis in the early months of the pandemic.  Entirely mishandled in all respects which has resulted in the US having many of the the worst COVID statistics in the world.  Trump has the blood of hundreds of thousands of unnecessary deaths on his hands.  You can also thank Trump for a large chunk of his followers refusing to get vaccinated.  Many of them still believe that COVID is a complete hoax (just as Trump claimed many times in early 2020).  Trump owns all of that and always will.
As far as the vaccine goes, I largely thank the scientific/pharmaceutical communities.
I still believe Canada will ultimately get a higher percentage of its population vaccinated than the US.  Just to get somewhat back on topic,  I will add that I hope the border will open to vaccinated tourists sometime before the End of September.  Maybe later this month or early in August...but that might be wishful thinking.

I also posted this story on the Montreal strip club thread...but it's relevant here too.  Possible strike action by Canada border officials in August.

If you are planning a visit to Canada in August, pay attention to how this story develops.  Over 8,000 Canadian border officials are threatening to strike in early August due to not having a contract in place since 2018.  The strike vote is currently underway and the results should be known soon.  If a strike proceeds it could cause major slowdowns at both land and air border crossing stations.

I started this thread on 6/15/20, just after I had to cancel plans for a visit at the end of that month.  Back then I would never have predicted it would be 14 months before I could return.
I have my plane reservations, my apartment, and my vaccination certificate all ready.  Still have to nail down the requirements for a covid-test and the "just-in-case" quarantine plan.  You can bet I've been walking around with a big smile on my face for the past 24 hours 😁.

Canada isn't just throwing open the door to Americans....have to provide proof of vaccination, testing, and other contact tracing information after arrival.

I lived in Boulder between '83 and '94, I suspect my experiences were unique to me, unique to my age and interests, and unique to the time...   over a two year period went from going everywhere by car to living on a mountain bike; from eating like a goat to a vegetarian diet; from sedentary to quite athletic... Pearl Street was just emerging as the destination pedestrian mall...  weekends driving through the mountains... learning to snowboard (you have to learn to respect gravity)...  truly an amazing place...   amazing start-up mentality ... don't like your job?  just go to lunch with friends and start somewhere else on Monday...   but eventually the magnitude of what I was missing outweighed the lifestyle, and I moved on (to a gritty little flat in London)...  the pangs of homesickness for Boulder are sometimes there (especially when Londoners get excited about a centimetre of snow)... but I could never move back - the real world has too much to offer.

    It's a brilliant character study.  It's a book I've read a few times.
Do make sure to visit Mercer House when you're in SAV.  It's fun to connect the dots of 'the book' when you're in that city.

At the least you knew not to waste time with him. Ikt was not rude just direct and clear.   Secondly, if he had decided to forgo his usual standards and give you the privledge of paying for his services, it may well have been a disappointment given his clearly stated preferences.  Blunt is temporarily painful but in the long run, it is an attribute of which we could use more.

I hadn't realized Quebec was behind the national average of fully vaccinated. As far as Canada/ US on this metric, Canada is closing the gap fast and will be ahead of the US in a few weeks. It is already far ahead in single vaccinations and vaccinations per 100,000.
And as far as US is concerned, there are states where the variant is taking off among a low vaccinated population overall.
