I have maintained for several years now that, longer term, Montreal can only sustain two male strip clubs for gay clientele.  With four clubs, the business and the dancers are too dispersed.  The old Adonis  (now Expose) has closed and re-opened under new ownership and name at least three times in the last 5-6 years.  I don't know why new owners keep coming in to try and revive it.
On your various visits, did one of the clubs seem busier than the others?   I only have a feeling for what is going on at Stock via the live cam.  Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday seem relatively busy (albeit not packed by any stretch) and Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday seem very quiet.  The lack of any foreign tourists allowed into Canada has to be hurting the bar business big time...especially during the summer.

I agree.  The border re-opening will be a slow process.  I don't blame Canada for wanting to be cautious.  Relative to the US, it handled the COVID situation much better during 2020.  With the exception of amping up the development of vaccines, the US management of the pandemic was awful in 2020.  Thankfully the person largely responsible for that is no longer in office.
I have maintained for months that the re-opening will occur in the July - September timeframe.  Do you feel that is too optimistic?

Actually,  what you can thank Trump for is a completely botched response to the COVID crisis in the early months of the pandemic.  Entirely mishandled in all respects which has resulted in the US having many of the the worst COVID statistics in the world.  Trump has the blood of hundreds of thousands of unnecessary deaths on his hands.  You can also thank Trump for a large chunk of his followers refusing to get vaccinated.  Many of them still believe that COVID is a complete hoax (just as Trump claimed many times in early 2020).  Trump owns all of that and always will.
As far as the vaccine goes, I largely thank the scientific/pharmaceutical communities.
I still believe Canada will ultimately get a higher percentage of its population vaccinated than the US.  Just to get somewhat back on topic,  I will add that I hope the border will open to vaccinated tourists sometime before the End of September.  Maybe later this month or early in August...but that might be wishful thinking.

No offense to anyone, but I’ve never been impressed with “A-List”, Gays.
They’ve always been bitchy, tacky, lame and disgusting in character.

I wouldn’t subject myself to being stuck on a weeklong circuit party on a boat….

Eventually, I’d have to throw a “Ho Overboard”

I've only recently started cruising in the last six years.  I use mainstream cruise lines and it works just fine for me.  The longer cruises attract a more interesting clientele than the standard 7-day cruises.  Transatlantic and repositioning cruises are fun.  I enjoy the sea days.
Personally, I can't imagine going on a gay cruise...particularly an RSVP-style cruise.  The thought of being locked up on a ship for seven days with a bunch of WeHo muscle Marys would make me want to slit my wrists.  LOL.
I would encourage the OP to consider going on a mainstream cruise and make sure to attend the solo cruiser meetings (and also the LGBT meetings) on-board.  It's easy to meet folks and you will find all kinds of ages and body types.  You won't feel out of place at all.

Yes exactly.  I agree on helping them out.  Our first obligation after taking care of our own citizens should be to help out our neighbors Canada and Mexico in getting them vaccines.

Thanks for all the well wishes.   Surgery went well and just recovering.  Surprisingly I’m not experiencing major pain - just really sore like I did a million sit-ups.   So for now just recovering and browsing the site for who is going to be my first hire when I’m healed. Haha.

Canada didn’t have the relevant pharma companies within their borders, so they had to wait for vaccine supply, like a lot of countries. I’d have liked to see us helping them out.

But the US as always been open to Canadians throughout the pandemic. Only entry though the land border was closed. Meanwhile, Canada has been completely closed to Americans throughout the pandemic. Therefore, it is Canada who does not want Americans.

Current border restrictions extended until July 21.  I'm still hoping for some loosening on the rules for US passport holders getting into Canada.  Maybe late July/early August.
