The "South America" term does not properly capture Mexico, Central America, or the Caribbean nations. I suggest renaming it "Latin America/Caribbean" or "South-of-the Border"

Welcome back Glutes! We have definitely missed you. Some of your threads from years ago live on even now!!

I’ve been following the rates of vaccination here in Canada very closely and it appears if the imports of Pfizer and Maderna vaccines continue to increase as expected, everyone who wants one and is eligible will have received their first dose by the end of June. That leaves the second doses still to be done and they may begin early July or even a bit earlier.
 
I don’t see bars and restaurants opening here in Ontario before people can show they have their second shots. Don’t know about how Quebec will play it.
 
Interesting that today the feds conceded that the Pfizer and Maderna are superior to either Astra Zeneca or J&J and that if people wanted to wait to get the former when they become available that would be fine. Up to now they have been saying take whatever is offered first. Big climb down.
 
There will be increasing pressure to open the border to those who are fully vaccinated but the imbalance between the numbers in the US and Canada will make this politically difficult for Canada.

Actually I think 30 to 45 minutes of "fun" is really quite a lot. If by fun you mean actual physical contact. If it's only a 1 hour appointment that in fact is perfect, at least for me. Leaves a little time for cuddling.
 
If you are talking about a 2 hour session or longer, you need to pace things out unless he is a multiple cummer, which of course is divine.

I predict that bars/restaurants in Montreal will be allowed to open within the next 60 days. I would guess it will be somewhere between late May and early June... but for sure, by the end of June.
 
As far as the US/Canada border goes, this is tougher to predict. My guess is that it will re-open to vaccinated individuals anywhere from late July to late September. If Canada's vaccination rate continues accelerating, a July re-opening looks more likely.
 
I have no particular insight on any of this. Just going with my gut feeling. Anyway, re-opening is in sight now!

And they make no exceptions to their policy and wish the US was just as strict. A good friend of mine has a lot of family In Australia and his mother died last month. fortunately his sisters and her grandson who is a doctor were with her. He found out she only had a few days left and was told he wouldn't be able to attend her funeral unless it was at least two weeks after he arrived. They bus you straight to a hotel for 14 days upon arrival.
 
It sucked he wasn't able to attend his mom's funeral but this is how they kept the death rate so low.

I believe this means there is no longer any proper stripper club catering to gay clientele (nude or not) in the Midwest. The Gold Coast in Detroit was the last one that closed prior to the closure of Boxers-n-Briefs. One can probably find go-go boys working some nights at some bars/clubs in the Midwest...but not really strippers. BTW, IMHO, the Lucky Horseshoe in Chicago was never a proper stripper club. Skinny twinky guys would dance on the bar for tips. I don't recall there being any place to have a private dance...but I could be wrong about that. It never really mattered as I never found anyone there that I would have wanted a private dance with anyway.

I think it’s hard for non Australians to understand that we have opted for a policy of elimination not containment in respect to the virus. Being an island continent, and a high, but not perfect, agreement between the federal and state governments on strategy has been a success. Our contact tracing has been exemplary. I don’t think the Australian government will put our current situation at risk with opening of the borders in the foreseeable future. I’m a very frustrated traveller but I do see their point. I do wish they would get their act together on the vaccine rollout.

I don't know what any of that means, but COOL! :cool:
