Let's just remember that that vast majority of hospitalized COVID patients are able to recover and that number keeps getting better. One recent article said that the mortality rate of hospitalized COVID patients is 3.7 percent, so more than 96 percent are recovering (and that number has improved drastically since the start of the pandemic and very well could have improved even more. There are stories of people recovering after being on a ventilator a week, 10 days, even 20 days. So let's keep those hopes and prayers going folks.

@Cooper is our hero! Can @Cooper keep us posted on Guy's condition? If the hospital is called, you will have to say who you are (close family member) to get an update. Please keep us posted. So sorry to hear this. He does a lot to keep this forum going.

I still haven’t spoken to Guy Fawkes/daddy but was told by the hospital no visitors as he tested positive for covid.

Thanks @RyanDean, Tracking down @Guy Fawkes was a team effort. Thanks to everyone who provided valuable info to getting the address. My friend is NYPD. Fortunately, he was at work and, once @peterhung85 sent me the address, he gave me the local precinct to call.

Not to be picky, from your saying he will be okay, I inferred that he is not okay now. Besides donations, is there anything any of us can do to help him become OK?

Daddy has a car, and shopped and went to the post office frequently. He had some health issues, but certainly not homebound

From his limited descriptions of his medical issues over the past couple of years, he sure sounded like a candidate for a stint in a skilled nursing facility, but they may have been afraid to put him in one for fear he might catch it. It's also possible he knew he had COVID but was keeping that detail to himself by calling it a cold.

I am not happy at all with this nurse Daddy sees. Referencing his last update on 2/19 he said both quote The Nurse Says I have a cold and I'm up for about 10 minutes at a time. How could he or she not even remotely think about saying to him you might wanna go get a covid test or seem to not think it was serious at all. Which is what I gather from that. Especially when Daddy has underlying conditions.

This is so sad. Great job Cooper!

I would like to send another donation, but I am also curious as to whether there is anyway we can send him some kind of message at the hospital. Like some kind of get-well card? I know we cannot visit but is something like that possible? Sometimes having that encouragement can be really helpful.

Last Friday, 2/19, Guy Fawkes/Daddy wrote on the escort reviews site:
 
“The Nurse says I have a cold, I say that I'm miserable. It was once again in the low 40s last night. I'm up for about 10 minutes at a time; I'd expect the new teasers and reviews to go up a little at a time.”
 
His last login for the message center was Saturday, 2/20.
 
I’ve sent him an email, no reply. I called & left a message, no reply, & I’ve contacted a few members but they’ve heard nothing.
 
Since it’s not like him to be away from the site for even a day, I’m obviously concerned.
 
Let’s hope & pray that wherever he is that he’s in good hands & making a good recovery. If I hear anything I’ll keep you posted.

Oh My! I’ve been away from the site for a few months dealing with personal matters. This news is most distressing. I pray that Daddy @Guy Fawkes pulls through and recovers quickly.

I saw last week's thread about the health of @Guy Fawkes, but only noticed this much more concerning one today.
 
I am keeping him in mind with gratitude for this "home away from home" he gives us, with hope that he is receiving the best of care and with good wishes for his recovery.
