Wherever you decide to go, do make sure to actually see, learn about and enjoy the country you're visiting: I scratch my head at people who travel for 30 hours, only to be fully consumed by getting laid or cruising a gay bar that looks exactly like what you can get most anywhere in the States.

Traveling to me is about exiting your bubble and possibly learning something you didn't know before. Call me crazy

My vote would be to go to Moscow or Saint Petersburg. They're both fascinating and beautiful. The visa isn't tough to get. Just some easy paperwork, or if you want to streamline it further, you can have a third-party expeditor do it all for you.

Hear! Hear! And when you add to that the attitude of the bitch that everything "she" says is right and you're stupid for not agreeing, it's doubly hard to take. I run for the door when a queen snaps fingers at me, wags the head and intones "uh-huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuh."

Any of the lexicon from the reality show Drag Race.

There's truly nothing more attractive than hearing grown men speak like drag queens, loudly, in public.

    Ah, gotcha.

I don't think the OP was comparing the two as in level of medical seriousness: I believe he was only saying that he thought ANY STD should be disclosed.

Although the risk of contracting HIV is significantly lower when topping, it is by no means low-risk. I respect that each of us must choose the level of risk that we're comfortable with, but I think that sharing this kind of unsupported misinformation is a great disservice to our community.

In the state of California it is a state felony to NOT disclose you have HIV or AIDS to anyone you are sleeping with. A lot of guys on here get mad when you say it, but that is the truth. The idea that YOU are responsible for your own health so they guy with HIV has no guilt he gave you AIDS, Please, that is a felony, Assault with a Deadly Weapon. You can go to 20 years in Jail.

Yes, Twinrix is a 4 shot procedure: Anything less and you didn't get properly combination vaccinated.

Likely with a 2-shot schedule, it was Hep A that Latbear was inoculated against. The vaccination is called Vaqta.

Yes, some of us do know if we have HSV1: A full panel (IgG) will disclose it. As an escort, it's my job to know- with as little doubt as possible- whether I'm negative or positive for anything that I can pass onto others. If I did test positive (for anything), I would contact as many recent sexual partners as I could, to let them know what the issue was. That's being a responsible sex worker in my eyes. You might think it's overkill. If so, we can agree to disagree.

If an escort knows he's tested positive for something that could negatively affect a client, it's not unreasonable to expect him to say something or simply not take the job until the outbreak has subsided.

Agreed. When sex is part of your business, disclosure is part of being a decent human being.

As someone who is hiv positive I strongly disagree. I always disclose my status in an email and tell the person that If they are not comfortable with that I understand. I do this as a protection for myself as well because depending on the jurisdiction you are in not disclosing can get you in legal trouble, this way I have the disclosure ( and consent) in writing.

What about something like HSV1? He knows, you don't. He doesn't tell you. You can't always easily see an outbreak.

A condom doesn't prevent this... But an honest conversation might. Don't blame the escort? My ass. It takes two to tango.

I understand what you're saying personal health responsibility when it comes to anal sex or even oral sex, but just going in for a kiss? That's something a lot of guys don't think about, but probably should.

How about your doctor? Your dentist? While we all need to be responsible for our own health, it is the case that if you are putting someone at risk, your status is their business. Whether you take that responsibility or not is another issue.

    Hello,

I wanted to post this message based off of something that @Benjamin_Nicholas posted in another thread about a friend of his. Unfortunately, I cannot go into too much detail, but I wanted to share this with all of you here as a warning to be careful about who you hire.

The first thing you should do is go to your doctor and get vaccinated for all STIs. After you start hiring, get a full panel STI test regularly. It is up to YOU to protect your health. This person I spoke with had to learn the hard way that this industry is full of LIARS. There are tons of escorts who may have some infection, but don't tell you because they don't know themselves, don't want to risk their business being harmed, or are quite frankly to stupid to understand how these matters can impact people's lives.

To both clients AND escorts on this forum; if you have an STI, regardless of how big or small you perceive it to be, you need to be upfront with your partner about it before you have sex with them. Your partner has a right to know your status so he can make the decision if he wants to be with you or not. To not be upfront with them right from the beginning is dishonest and to me, it is straight-up lying. You have a right to know your partner's status before you have sex with them and if they do not want to be honest with you, then you should not be with that person in the first place.

An astute review and one that I share almost entirely... Along with heaping praise on Kate Baldwin, who has such a fantastic blend of head-to-belt that I could listen to her sing the phonebook. Her training and talent is clearly wonderful.

Midler has thankfully dropped the old lady shtick and now plays the role as straight as she can. I'm looking forward to seeing a real Broadway trooper like Donna Murphy go in for Dolly, mid-June. I want to see what a seasoned stage vet does with the role, along with a singer who can easily handle the songs.
