  1. I received the following email from 24HR Fitness. It appears I’ll be receiving a prorated credit for the time the gym was closed. You should contact your club to discuss this with them. I e been very pleased with how24HR Fitness has handled What is arguably a very tough time for all gyms We want to thank you for your patience and loyalty during this unprecedented time. We have begun a carefully phased approach to reopen clubs safely and responsibly, and look forward to welcoming you back as soon as we are able. We want to assure you that we will be adding a prorated credit to your account for any time paid for while clubs were closed in your area. This credit can be used for your next renewal payment or for any additional services you choose to purchase with us. As clubs reopen, we invite you to enjoy access to any club(s) of your choosing through December 31, 2020. Check your email and this page for club reopening dates as they become available. As a heartfelt “thank you” for sticking with us, we would also like to extend a choice of offers to help you come back stronger with a friend beside you, once clubs near you reopen: 1. 90-DAY GIFT OF FITNESS, a 90-day All-Club membership to give to a friend or family member OR 2. Thanks again for being a valued member. We look forward to seeing you
  2. Your response is interesting to me. Is this because you’re a cancer survivor and HIV/undetectable (both of which you’ve publicly stated in this Forum)? I choose to “live”, too but within the confines and limits that society deems necessary to maintain order nd safety. I don’t cherrypick only those rules I don’t like. Of course, if I’d been through what you’ve been through I might have a different perspective. I hope your life is a good and healthy one.
  3. I think we should have a treasure hunt here in the Forum and I’ll provide a prize to the winner. The Forum member who can locate the shortest posting by Steven Kessler will receive a gourmet dinner herein Dallas. Transportation not included.
  4. LOL...you needn’t comment. Your reply to my post is comment enough. Just remember that drink coasters are in fashion at PS pool parties.
  5. Only if Epigonos makes the deviled eggs. @mike carey ... is your comment a veiled reference to a certain PS pool party?
  6. http://cumm.co.uk/outils-de-celebrites/mickey-mantle-naked-dick/ The jury is out as to whether the picture is legitimate but do a search on Mickey Mantle’s penis and you’ll find numerous stories about the picture.
  7. The irony of your response speaks volumes and is the the quintessential definition of a “hollow and purely emotional argument”. Let’s leave it at this...we have differing opinions. Opinions are like assholes, everyone has one. And I’ll be the first to admit I can be a big rectal cavity.
  8. Until you’re the “one” who becomes infected and dies. My lieutenant governor thinks old people are OK with the idea of dying for the the greater good. Our generation would be doing our grandchildren a favor by catching the corona virus and dying. I’ve got news for him. That’s a crock of bullshit. Corporate Shill..do you engage in unsafe and unprotected sex? If you infected another human being with HIV or another STI would it be just another case to be dismissed? There has to be some social responsibility somewhere along the line and some compassion I might add. I’ll take a media that presents and provides more information than might be necessary over a media that provides zero coverage of the pandemic.
  9. https://www.texastribune.org/2020/05/05/texas-reopening-hair-salons-gyms-greg-abbott/ Here’s a link highlighting the reopening of gyms in Texas. While I really want to get back into the gym I’m going to wait a while longer. While Texas gyms can operate at a predetermined occupancy rate each national gym franchise sets its own individual operating procedures. I’m sure these vary from gym to gym. In the case of 24HR Fitness (my gym) you have to go online and reserve a one-hour limited time slot. Gloves and masks must be worn. Showers and lockers are off limits. The gym closes every hour for 30 minutes for a cleaning. Gym members are required to wipe down the equipment after each use. Gym bags are discouraged from being brought into the club. Etc. Etc. Etc. The list goes on and on. That’s just too much of an effort for me right now. I’ll stick to my daily 3 mile walk in the park for now.
  10. From a Dallasite.....COVID. Currently on Vacation in Dallas.
  11. Am I correct you are now accepting clients @Benjamin_Nicholas ? I thought I remembered your ad had a notification of non-hiring during the COVID 19 pandemic but it’s no longer there. Am I remembering correctly? If you are accepting clients again I’d be interested in what convinced you to do so.
  12. I’ve lived in Dallas for 39 years and I’m still not convinced there’s a Dallas mafia of any sort. There are many who swear it’s a “thing” . If I hear anything I’ll be sure to let all Forum members know. Urban folklore is always intriguing.
  13. I always have a problem with these fishing expedition type threads and what purpose they serve. I think the OP would be doing us all a favor if he’d post a review on Daddy’s Review site and enlighten us all on Dallas massage therapists. He’s indicated that he’s seen nearly half of what DALLAS has to offer. That’s a lot of people. Just my two cents worth. Feel free to attack my position. At this point in the pandemic I couldn’t care less.
  14. There must be a reciprocal agreement between the two governments about this DUI thing. I know several Americans turned away at the Canadian border because of a DUI conviction, one conviction being over 40 years ago. In that case, it was an American couple crossing the border in Washington state to go RV camping. The poor wife was shocked to learn of her husband’s DUI at the border. They had to return home to their American home some 2,000 miles away.
  15. In all fairness his ad does state he’s Arab/Cuban. Possibly one of his parents is Arab. We’ll never know.

  17. https://monstercockland.com/pornstar/casey-woods/ It appears he just turned 35. Based on the information in the link above he was born in 1985. Another useless factoid as I lumber through my COVID19 boredom.

All of the above after eating pineapple. No asparagus allowed!
  20. While his ad is expired I give him high marks for creativity in choosing his moniker.
  21. I believe most states have constitutional laws requiring a balanced budget. In the upcoming months states will be forced to increase revenues, decrease expenditures or a combination of both. Granted states face monumental challenges in the days ahead but if they are constitutionallly required to adopt a balanced budget many will have to adopt draconian measures. Future retirees may see a decrease in their expected benefits but I seriously doubt those already retired will notice any changes. Pension accounting and actuarial accounting is a topic best left to be discussed another time.
  22. How the gas that gave the world Viagra could help treat coronavirus patients This is an interesting article about research on nitrous oxide gas as a possible aid in fighting COVID-19. Popper aficionados take note.
  23. ACT = Australian Capital Territory. (Canberra area, similar to Washington DC in concept). Is that correct, MC?
