  1. I didn’t realize there was a tv sub-Forum after all these years. I’ve learned something today.
  2. I łoved that episode. Poor Mr. Beamus (I think that’s his name.). Over the years I’ve come to appreciate The Twilight Zone. Way ahead of its time.
  3. This entire COVID-19 pandemic is reminiscent of a Twilight Zone episode “The Old Man in the Cave”. I was watching the news last night where groups of people were protesting to reopen businesses. For some reason this particular episode popped into my head. Rod Serling was not only a great writer but he understood the human condition and just how frail it is. If you get a chance, watch this episode. It is eerily similar to what we’re going through now.
  4. Shame by Evelyn “Champagne” King https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hu3Xi5_LBMg
  5. Coming out of Hiding by the one and only Pamela Stanley complete with a fan dance in the middle of the video
  6. He appears to be a pretty straight guy. Of course, that means nothing anymore. The almighty dollar makes people do strange things.
  7. One of my all-time favorite movies. E.M. Forster was on his game when he wrote Maurice.
  8. Could you’ll you please repost the link?
  9. https://omg.blog/naked-bachelor-star-chad-johnson/?utm_source=OMG.BLOG+Newsletter&utm_campaign=19cf4d089b-RSS_EMAIL_CAMPAIGN&utm_medium=email&utm_term=0_2813a6ab01-19cf4d089b-177473461 As much as I detest this guy he’s got a nice tool and body. I guess he’s looking for an additional 10 minutes of fame. How embarrassing to admit I’ve actually watched an episode or two of the Bachelor. I’m hanging my head in shame.
  10. Please Don’t Let Me Be Misunderstood by Santa Esmeralda! Cheesy backup dancers at their finest! I love this video.
  11. We Can Be Kind by Nancy LaMotte
  12. Goodbye Earl by the Dixie Chicks.
  13. Hi, Epigonos! Maple and Motor restaurant here in Dallas is my indulgence of choice.....best hamburgers on planet earth!!! I read a short article about liquor stores being essential businesses. The jist of the story centered on the fact that it was a way for people to “self-medicate” at home during these times. Lot of people are dependent on alcohol and withdrawal symptoms would likely cause people to seek out scarce medical resources at this time. There was reference to the failure of Prohibition in the article too. Who knew Americans were so dependent on booze! 5:30 here in Dallas. Time for a home style happy hour cocktail.
  14. Clearly an asshole as you state. Glad to know the pandemic has missed Cleveland and you’re able to hire without the worry of COVID-19 infection.
  15. Isn’t that Mickey Mantle, the baseball player?

  17. I have taken it upon myself to voluntarily send funds to two guys I’ve come to know over the years and who I’ll continue to see in the future. I don’t really know what they’re financial status is but I do know both have been laid off from their jobs. This can’t be an easy time for either of them. I contacted both of them, told them I would be sending them funds and asked them what the best way was to get the money to them. I also told them this was a gift and they were free to use it any way they saw fit. I certainly didn’t have any strings attached to it. Both were were very appreciative. Had they approached me instead of me approaching them i would have gladly assisted them too. I give from the heart and expect nothing in return from them. I need to clarify though these two guys are more like friends than business acquaintances. I would not be so benevolent with a one-and-off guy.
  18. In Texas physicians are required to report specific diseases. What happens after that....I’m not sure. https://www.dshs.texas.gov/hivstd/reporting/
  19. If it walks like a duck, talks like a duck and quacks like a duck......it usually is a duck. Sure sounds like him!
  20. This Matthew Richardson short video never ceases to wow me.
  21. Yea, there are a lot of professions that require fingerprints here in Texas. Massage therapists have been added to that list. Not a big deal though.
  22. Texas now requires that all new and renewing licensed massage therapists to submit fingerprints to the state licensing board before a license is granted or renewed. The fingerprints are used to check for any criminal history that would preclude a license from being issued.
  23. Sadly, I think you’re correct. Fortunately the stimulus checks people are about to receive are not taxable income.
  24. Those receiving unemployment insurance or about to receive unemployment insurance need to remember that unemployment income is deemed taxable income. Next January recipients of unemployment insurance will be receiving a 1099 in the mail.
