Totally agree. Saw it last night thru Netflix and it has many wonderful elements. One of them is the way that time is handled. It is a film that jumps back and forth in time however the way that it handled it is that you will be in one room in one year and then walk through a door into another room and it will be some time before. You will also see a certain scene from one character's experience of what happened and then see the same set of circumstances from another character's viewpoint later. As mentioned above, the performances are excellent, with Annette Bening being outstanding. Jamie Bell (of Billy Elliott fame - years later) is really good as Bening's lover. He definitely is one of those you will want to bed yourself. Both Julie Walters and Vanessa Redgrave give their usual bravura performances. It is a romantic film but also a sad one. Definitely worth seeing.
