  3. I have to say that if people are somehow "stirred up" by what was being done and shown by the Armond/Dillon tryst they must not have done the real thing very much. Armond was barely near Dillon's ass. After reading about it I was hoping that it would be enough to be used as a teaching lesson for "tossing salad". I would definitely do a better job than what they showed. After the first episode I began to really enjoy the series. I thought several members of the cast were great. Jennifer Coolidge was pathetically great as usual. I have loved her since I first saw her in Best In Show. And of course Molly Shannon is always great. Just so hateful. I also find the actress playing Rachel to be really good, stuck in such a depressing situation. Of course, I could go on but you should just watch it.
  4. You have to love those guys who do most of the work for me. 😝
  5. No, they seem to have worked things out to their satisfaction well before hand.
  6. True. However the gay community does not have to play into their biases. Individuals can find humor in things and others won't find humor in the same things. It is the same thing as certain people watching a certain Netflix (or other network) comedy and finding it funny (such as finding Fran Lebowitz funny - or not). On the other hand someone else might find the same show/comedian irritating and condescending. Or in a different scenario, I might see a pic of a guy in the Gallery section here and find him really handsome while someone else might find him not someone they would date/sleep with. But to each his own and that is the way it is supposed to be (I think).
  7. I think it was funny if you took it for what it is meant to be and let it be satirical. It isn't taking itself seriously but hopes that slowly but surely fairness and tolerance will win over those who have believed the propaganda that has been put out for years. I mean, "[E]ven Grandma likes RuPaul."
  8. Thanks. It did not come up when I searched for it under that name.
  9. I was wondering if anyone had the occasion to meet up with https://rent.men/GABRIEL_TOP? He advertises as being in Chicago.
  10. From what I have read a song posted by the San Francisco Gay Men's Chorus on YouTube was very recently withdrawn by the organization because of death threats to members and participants and taken out of context when discussed on conservative media. Purportedly it had been commissioned and performed by the Oakland Symphony and then picked up by and performed on a couple of prior occasions by the SFGMC without mishap. The video was a split screen created of individual members during the pandemic. No one expected the reaction that ensued and thus after much discussion it was taken down on most social media. Allegedly it is a satirical song that is meant to further tolerance and fairness. I was wondering if anyone has heard the song? P.S. I was not sure exactly where to put this thread. I checked and could not find prior posts about it.
  11. If you are looking for the second category as defined above I think Rio is a really great place to go. I found the dancers to be great looking with wonderful bodies. Rio is blessed with a mixture of every color and skin tone so you have a lot to choose from. I only went to a couple of places when I was there but it was pre-COVID so I am not sure how things are handled - particularly as things have spiked there. When I went I had engaged a non-escort guy that showed me around the city and then took me to the clubs. As I did not speak Portuguese it came out very handy when I wanted to negotiate various things. They definitely had back areas where you could do whatever the provider agreed to. Of course, it appeared that most of the guys were G4P but then I can't be sure. Versatility (men and women) was prevalent in Rio so I may have been giving the guy exactly what he wanted. 😉
  12. That may have been the pretext but none of what the prosecutor said could possibly be true. The other two prosecutors testified that there was no grant of immunity to Mr. Cosby and the lower court and the Superior Court both found that this was not true. All of what was alleged by Mr. Cosby's lawyers and the one prosecutor is beyond belief. No criminal prosecutor is going to immerse him or herself in a civil case that is going on at the same time. Moreover, for sake of argument, if the prosecutor actually did make a promise that Cosby could not be later prosecuted because of testimony he later gave in the civil case no prosecutor worth a grain of salt would have allowed for the case to proceed without putting the agreement to paper. If he did, he should be disbarred for his neglect to do something so basic. Somebody besides Mr. Cosby was a promised something out of the whole deal. As they say, follow the money.
  13. Went to check out his RM ad and it says it has expired. I guess all good things must end.
  14. I think an added effect of Cher trying to be up to date is that she retains a certain amount of power in the gay community but in other communities also. So when she makes her opinion known about certain things she can really influence things in one way or another. It will not mean that something will go one way but her opinion will have an effect. Good for her.
