Guy is from Madrid. We hit it off! He looks exactly like his pics.  At first I was leary because I had just hired https://rent.men/Martinezvip, who was also from Spain, and even tough Martinez looked like his pics, he wasn't all there and couldn't maintain his stamina😉 due to overbooking. But my time with Alexx was the direct opposite.  He kissed passionately and was completely engaged.  I left happy and we even joked around for a bit after. Oh, and no problems with his stamina😉 .

BonVivant reacted to Hlparx in How does the European market compare to the North American?
Sometimes.  For example, with some providers who advertise on both Hunqz and RM, they will charge more if you mention that you saw their profile on RM versus Hunqz.  For example, one provider I saw in Paris a few years ago listed his RM rate at €200 and his Hunqz rate at €150.  He’s since aligned them at the RM rate.
The rationale as I’ve heard it (from other members on the forum) is that Americans are more likely to use RM whereas Hunqz sees more European use.

Always good to get immersed in the local culture, including the men 🙂
Or sometimes fellow travelers are also fun if no local is available or interesting.

I have had a couple of hot guys reach out to me on Grindr at different times without me having anything on my profile about generous. We made arrangements in chat including the rate for their time. Both were great experiences.

What about a HELOC on the real estate? Interest rates are low. And you can use the gains/dividends in the stocks to pay help pay the HELOC. Less risky especially with the choppy markets.

To mitigate the risk of a margin call you could go with some combination of a HELOC on your paid off rental plus a margin loan on your brokerage account rather than fully sourcing your funds from a margin loan.

I have not done this but risk seems low unless the market experiences a “black swan event” with an associated melt down in stock prices i.e. like the initial reaction in 2020 to Covid.   Good luck - I like having some rental property in the portfolio.

It might be a good time to go to Europe as the Euro is quite low. Almost equal to the dollar!
nytimes.com: The euro fell to a 20-year low against the U.S. dollar on Tuesday, as fears about the European economy weighed heavily on the currency. This was the most prominent sign of renewed economic worries around the world, which were also reflected in stocks wobbling and oil prices falling sharply.
...The euro’s move brought it closer to parity with the dollar, with one euro trading for about $1.025, its lowest level since 2002. Many analysts have said it is only a matter of time before the euro reaches a one-to-one exchange rate with the dollar, as European economies struggle with high inflation, labor unrest and turmoil in energy markets.

Hub and I able to invest in rental properties in a smaller market some years back- glad we diversified when we did. Have made back initial $$. We both have 401k plus some bonds and a few individual stocks. Both retired, 65, one of us collecting SS, other waiting for higher payout at 71.
All of the rental units have remained occupied 98% of the time. All have increased in value. Fuckin’ lucky, they call it. Will be looking into more bonds in next few years to keep a chunk safer from wild market fluctuations.

Loss aversion is a very real thing, most people fear more losing what they have than not making what they could.

Hermès Birkin bags sell from $40,000 to $500,000.  Millions of Americans, especially in the ever expanding service sector, don't even make $40K, forget $500K.

I enjoy the finding diamonds in the grass. Two of my steadies are from Grindr. It’s less transactional than RM and more low key then Seeking.

Interested guys will say “looking for GENtleman” or “genTLEMAN”. Or they just outright ask you in an sms. You can also use code like “will treat my guys right” or similar. Exchange numbers and discuss outside of Grindr.

Don’t use just Gen or any form of monetary symbol. That will now get u banned.  Also depend on folks reporting u. Always a risk.

I have found that when traveling in Europe is can be extremely difficult to find "local" guys. For example, try finding a British escort in London - there simply don't seem to be many of them. Most of the escorts available in London are Spanish, Italian, or Brazilian.  Trying to find a Brit is like trying to find a needle in a haystack.  The same is quite true of Paris as well - many North Africans and escorts from other former French colonies.

I've had good luck over the years with "Grindr (or previously Craigslist) looking for GEN.  Guys that would never invest the time and money in developing a RM profile, but who are just as much fun.  Yes, I've also been burned a time or two.  More risky now with all the new plagues floating around.  But there is just a certain thrill in finding the "diamond in the rough."

Well, you certainly don't want to talk business on the Grindr platform.  So exchange phone numbers and then discuss like you would with any other provider.  Be respectful but to the point - nothing different.
