  1. Puerto Vallarta, Mexico: Most overrated: Wet Dreams, the popular gay strip club Most underrated: Club 69, the gay strip club next door to Wet Dreams, but overlooked by so many people
  2. I've never even heard of Spring Valley State Park. I thought Spring Valley was an unincorporated township in Clark County.
  3. RSVP had gender neutral public restrooms in 2015. Then in 2016, the gender neutral signs were up for only a day before being taken down, and there were repeated announcements for men not to use the ladies room. It was still that way in 2019. So, some high profile female raised a fuss about having to share a gender neutral space, and RSVP caved.
  4. I've been on 3 RSVP cruises. They were great. I would pick an all-gay cruise over an integrated cruise any day. I don't mind paying the higher prices, because the entertainment and guys on board are worth it! The only reason I don't do more gay cruises is the time of year or ports of call aren't to my liking on some of the itineraries. I truly wish there was an all men, Gay cruise. The extra effort to include the ladies really hampers the logistics. Half of the public toilets are reserved for about two dozen guests, while thousands of men wait to share the other half. Hundreds of men want to be naked in the spa, sauna, or steam room, but one lady objects so we got to keep it covered. Haven't been on Vacaya, but the ads look to promote a lot more female travels. For that reason alone, I will stick with RSVP or Atlantis. But please, someone let us know if I'm mistaken about Vacaya.
  5. Do you mostly get the President $1 coins, or Sacagawea coins? Congress tried to replace the $1 bill with the $1 coin to save money in the long run. The public loved the Presidential coins. However, the law states that the mint cannot produce more Presidential $1 coins until all of the Sacagawea $1 coins are distributed, and no one wants the millions of Sacagawea coins in storage. I read that they've minted new $1 coins in the last few years with various themes such as space exploration, WWI and WWII, and Early Americans. I'm wandering if you've seen those, or if they're mostly Sacagawea.
  6. When I go to the bank teller, I get all my cash in $2s and $50s
  7. Supposedly that RSVP Queen Mary voyage almost bankrupted the company, because they couldn't fill the whole ship. So, Atlantis bought out RSVP. While Atlantis and RSVP have maintained different brands, they are the same company.
  8. I get the local newspapers (Las Vegas Review-Journal and Las Vegas Sun), USA Today, and Wall Street Journal delivered daily. I started reading newspapers in my early 30s when my supervisor began bringing his newspaper from home and letting me read it during my lunch break. I look forward to reading the daily newspapers, but only while I'm out eating in restaurant by myself. On days I don't leave the house, I don't read the paper.
  9. Child: Skim milk (called Non-Fat Milk on the West Coast in 80's, now called Fat Free Milk) Adult: 2% fat milk (called Low Fat Milk on the West Coast in the 80's, now called Reduced Fat Milk)
  10. Swinging Richards (Atlanta) posted on Facebook about 10 minutes prior to your post here. Yes, they are open Thursdays to Sundays.
  11. A rolled up foam pad (just got back from a camping trip when I was a teenager). It didn't work
  12. I enjoyed Coral Spa near Playa Los Muertos and Hamam Turkish Bath below Spartacus Bathhouse, although had to have reservations days in advance for Hamam Turkish Bath.
  13. Vodka It's easily available in my glass when you want to sanitize a hole or a probe at the stripper bar
  14. I did hire two "regulars" that I've hired before. One through Rentmen, one through Grindr. I also found more guys on Grindr, but I didn't follow through. A week simply was not enough time for me. Also had fun at two new (to me) massage parlors I hadn't tried before. I enjoyed the three strip clubs that were open. There were very few patrons in each establishment. Multiple times I had three or more dancers competing for my attention and taking care of me in the public areas of the strip clubs. It helps that tipping them each $500 pesos (only $25 US) kept them happy for multiple songs. The real highlight of my trip was the great drag queens Miss Conception, Sutton Lee Seymour, and Hedda Lettuce. Check them out if you go soon, before they close again!
  15. I was in PV last week. It was very enjoyable. Crowds are noticeably lower. All bars, strip clubs, and cabarets are open... For now. Local business owners tell me they except another month of closures beginning at the end of March, so hurry while it lasts.
  16. Agreed. When I was younger, I bought furniture, appliances, and paintings on 0% interest credit cards. I had the cash in my savings account, but thought I would beat the system by earning interest on the money while the debt was at 0%. Never again. It gave me a false sense of security, and caused me to eventually overspend my liquid savings down to nothing. If I had to pay cash for those purchases, I probably would have bought fewer paintings and wouldn't even miss them today
  17. Dave Ramsey, a radio talkshow financial "expert", says 1) never borrow money for anything with a motor, and 2) don't consider buying a factory-new car until your net worth is at least $1M US. Suze Orman, another famous TV financial "expert", says not to finance a car for a period longer than 3 years. So, it sounds like you want to buy a factory-new luxury vehicle. If you can pay cash and not even notice the change in your investments (example, less than 10%) then buy it! If it would cause you financial stress in the event it is damaged or stolen, then don't buy it. Just like you shouldn't have a 5-year payment plan to finance a weekend vacation or a fancy dinner out, don't finance this toy. Pay cash and enjoy it. If you can't pay cash, you won't be enjoying it very long before regret sets in
  18. First record: "Happy Birthday" (it came with my Fisher Price record player when I was about 4 years old in the 1980s) First CDs: Andy Williams' Christmas, Hello Dolly soundtrack, Singing in the Rain soundtrack
  19. I grew up in southern California. The "valley girl" or "surfer dude" accent has vanished and been replaced by Spanish
  20. Not me. I never found either of my parents attractive. I previously theorized that if my mother wasn't such a nasty person, that maybe I could be attracted to women. My dad only stayed with her because, according to him, "men are like lenolium. If laid right, you can walk over them for 30 years". And of course my mom freaked out when she found out I was gay. "You're just like your father. You'd have sex with anything". Duh, mom
  21. Once, my sex partner's playlist included contemporary Christian worship songs. Had to have him stop and change it. My legs were already in the air, so couldn't put my hands in the air to worship as well
  22. A sex partner wanted me to slap him across the face and call him a racial slur. I wouldn't do either.
  23. Literally when they obviously meant "figuratively"
  24. I have a Costco credit card, which has its own extra warranty on any appliance I purchase with it, from any store. I had a dishwasher needing some repairs less than 3 years after it was installed. Costco credit card reimbursed me the full cost of the plumber I chose. Other than that, when an appliance reaches the end of its useful life, I just buy a new one. No home warranty.
