My first impressions of you, @Kurtis Wolfe, were not from your porn or other social media presence, it was from your whip-smart and insightful contributions to this forum. That was prompted me to look at you more closely, and none of that changed my opinions of you, and nor has any of the febrile conversation in this thread.

Ha! This was also my reaction to the suggestion that you raise your rates. Seems like you're gonna get critics no matter what you. I have no doubt that you know best how to manage your business. I guess my only suggestion is to not get into a tit-for-tat with people on this thread. Don't let them get under your skin.

I agree, I would have let some of the hypercritical comments go. Everyone has a view about how other people should run their businesses, few of them are grounded in enough knowledge to be taken seriously unless they are limited to 'this is how my interactions with you affected me'. Even those comments are more credible if they relate to an actual business dealing not a hypothetical discussion. Good luck, mate, you still have some fans in here!

I do think that @latbear4blk gave a very good example of why we as a client might want a quick 5 minute FaceTime session. Having seen great photos, and knowing they are real is just sometimes not enough.

What if I like an affeminate typical NYC gay guy, and it turns out the the escort speaks and behaves like a straight jock from Kentucky? Or the reverse?

More like naive if you think you can truly be anonymous in this day and age.

You can be pretty anonymous through VoIP #s and fake emails. I use VoIP and I've tested it in various ways. I don't know if the average person can get your real # at least. More of a half way measure I guess. You can at least blacklist their fake #s.

Not to belabor the point but the posters in question did not indicate that they had previously contacted KW. If that's so, not knowing their names, nor any of their contact info, what's to blacklist? If they changed their minds and wanted to hire KW how would he know they were the guys from "the forum" with whom he had a nasty exchange?

Based on his postings on this thread, methinks His Majesty has enough ego and arrogance that only the self-loathing and low-esteem types need beg for the privilige of paying his fee. To make sure I land on his blacklist and therefore avoid his company, I am ready to send him my social security number, date of birth, and mother's maiden name.
