I thought I’d post this for informational purposes. It looks likes there’s a new screening process and fee for those traveling to European community countries.

The United States, Canada and Australia already have similar schemes so as a citizen of one of those countries I'm really in no position to complain, even if the process is tiresome.

My sentiments exactly. Completing a 10 minute application for $8 is far less of an inconvenience than trying to obtain a US tourist visa so I can’t complain at all.
