Notification from Rentmen in my mailbox

I’m not sure you’ll be able to read my copy and paste from my RM mailbox but IRM appears to be changing the access code feature for private galleries. It is now only available for registered users.

We would like to inform you that the access code feature for Private Galleries is no longer avaialble. This change is part of our efforts to simplify and improve the RentMen user experience.

 

The private galleries will continue to be available through requests just as it is now. However, this will be possible only for registered users.

 

In addition, Premium users will be able to see the private galleries of Basic users without requesting permission, as well as the private galleries of Gold users who provided free access to their private photos for all Premium members.

 

If you have any questions or need of further clarification, don’t hesitate to contact us.

I got that and had to read it three times before I got as much out of it as possible.

 

I saw it as a means to encourage client users to register.

I’m happy that the automatic emails are going away when I look at a gallery.

I guess I never realized private galleries were available to people who weren't logged in. At least it's an informative email, vs. the weekly "real men near you" spam.

I think you were able to send a request but they asked for your email and the provider would then send you their code ti unlock.

I complained about receiving those "real men near you" spam type emails and they removed my profile from that distribution list after a couple of weeks and I no longer receive them.

I real don't understand what this means. I used to (if I recall) just contact the particular escort and get a code to enter so that I could get access to his photos. Do we not do that? Or does it mean something different?

I just made a test while logged into my RM account. Not sure if this process was already in place or if it is an updated process as I never requested to view Private or Semi-Private Pics before. I think previously when clicking on these Pics a box appeared to enter a code, but not sure.

 

When I clicked on a Private Pic a box appears to Send Request.

 

After clicking on a Semi-Private Pic, a box appears stating "Limited Access" advising to Send Request -or- Upgrade.

 

I clicked on the Send Request Button and a message was automatically sent behind the scene and a new box appeared stating:

Request sent successfully. Please wait for email response from user.

I think you have to register with RM in order to request private pics. If you just go to the site and peruse ads and are not a registered user you can’t request pics from providers.

 

I’ll test my theory out later by logging out of my account and then try to request a private pic.

I just tested clicking on a Private Pic while *not* logged in and a message box appears stating:

 

LIMITED ACCESS

In order to access this private gallery you need to login or sign up for a profile.

The access codes have been eliminated completely. You now just simply hit the request access button on the prospective provider’s ad. It has caused a lot of confusion because I’m getting s generous number of messages from clients asking me to “unlock my photos,” which I cannot do unless a request is sent.

I received an email advising the guy gave me access to the private photos. Now, when I click on his profile I see ALL photos together and there is no longer a separation of Public and Private photos. A "lock" appears as a muted display in the corner of the "previously private" photos which are now just displayed as Photos - not Private or Public.

Are you saying after you entered the code provided with the previous process, then the photos appeared all together?

 

Previously we were prompted for a code provided by the model to access private photos if we clicked on a private photo. I just never sent a request to a model for a code to access any private galleries so I don't know how it worked before.

I received this but ignored because I've been a registered member for a long time which was quite an innocuous process! ,,,like being registered, for I could find out the size as well as contact others regarding escorts they'd reviewed. ...haven't done the latter very much, but when I did, the guys' assessments of their experiences helped me in selecting and pursuing!

 

I hate the monthly "RentMen in your area feature." I'm not interested at all and have emailed the webmaster my concern; unfortunately, he's ignoring my request in having this component deleted from registration.
