Texas now requires that all new and renewing licensed massage therapists to submit fingerprints to the state licensing board before a license is granted or renewed. The fingerprints are used to check for any criminal history that would preclude a license from being issued.

It is my understanding this extends to all State issued licenses in Texas. So if you have a CPA license Mr Beancounter, you will need to submit fingerprints as well during your next license renewal.
