here is my issue with this why is a flight attendant off duty on the plane? this is not like fucking in an office were you can literally leave the building if you want. this is an active plane it could have been the flight attendant lunch time doesn't mean he is no long on the flight and just becomes a normal passenger for his lunch break. i am sure Austin doesn't care if the flight attendant got fired cuz he just wanted to fuck.

Wanting sex is one thing.  To secretly record the sex, then post the secret sex recording to the internet is quite another thing.

I asked my retired flight attendant friend (more than 30 years with American) why an off-duty flight attendant might be on a plane. Here are some of the reasons she gave:

1. The flight attendant is based in a different city than the one in which they live and is commuting home. 
2. The flight attendant is based in a different city than the one in which they live and is commuting to their base so they can start  work.
3. The flight attendant is using their flight benefit on a personal trip.
4. The flight attendant is commuting to attend training
5. The flight attendant is filling in for another flight attendant and is commuting to the city in which the flight will originate

The list goes on.

Yes, 'off-duty flight attendant' means someone who's not working on the flight, not someone who is on a break during the flight. They still have to uphold company standards, and since they have to be in uniform they can easily be held to account. In an emergency they could be called on to assist the rostered crew (as could an off-duty pilot if they were certified on type). I won't add to the commentary on what Wolf did.

Those are all good reasons for an off duty flight attendant to be on a flight. 

However, those reasons do not explain why Austin Wolf chose to film a sex act with an off duty flight attendant without advising the guy of the filming. 

To post the secret video of the sex act on social media is not humorous and is a malicious thing to do. 

That is the issue.

My assumption is that he was deadheading. I don't know why he was wearing his uniform if he was in travel mode. Maybe it's company policy and I suppose he could be pressed into service if another crew member got sick at the last moment or during the flight. But since he was in uniform, he should have had the discretion not to fool around. It looks bad on the company.

I think the flight attendant should have obviously not done this, particularly given it was his work environment.  But this is one place I won't go after Austin for it.  There's no way the guy didn't know it was being filmed.  He looks directly at the camera more than once.  And in a space that small, the camera/phone would have been very obvious to him.  I think the FA had a "fuck it" moment and knew it was going on and wanted to do it anyway.  Whether he knew it would become public or not, who knows.  But I'm suspecting he knew Austin filmed himself fucking over twinks, and likely knew it was going to be posted.

When the video was first released, I saw two versions.  One of them begins with a very clear view of the flight attendant's work badge and shows the guy's face clearly.  The other also shows the guy's face.  I assume that if you worked with the guy, you would easily be able to identify him based on either of those videos.
