Proper Time to Make Contact

If you know that you are going to be in New York in a few months, have exact dates, plane schedule and hotel confirmation. How soon is too soon to contact a potential escort. I feel 30 days is adequate, but maybe that is too early. Any suggestions?

I think it depends on the particular escort and his degree of professionalism. Some, who are highly organized and look upon their occupation as a business, with them being the CEO, would appreciate a client who plans that far in advance.

 

However, I don't think the above description applies to the vast majority of escorts. It has been my experience that many lead a much more hand-to-mouth existance, and some can't even schedule a day in advance as it might interfere with their highly volitile social schedule.

 

Then there are those escorts who fall somewhere in between these two examples. I would not, however, feel that an assignation, booked one month in advance, could be considered as "written in stone" by either party. There are just too many things that could cause the scenario to change. Perhaps two weeks in advance is more realistic. Good luck, however. Hope you get the 'scort of your choice.

I usually hire escorts when I am in another city on business.I check out the reviews and generally know who I want to see. Sometimes if I know my schedule far in advance (which is often the case)I try to make contact with the escort just because I want to make sure he is not booked up on the night I have available. On pre-planned business trips my schedule is usually kind of rigid. But I have found that most escorts do not like to book too far in advance and some will not even answer e-mail very far ahead. I think it relates to having been cancelled or stood up by clients too often when the time frame is so far in advance. Generally a month to six weeks is the max to which most escorts might confirm..unless you are a repeat client.Some ,of course,are much more "spur of the moment". The downside is that you may wait till a couple weeks before your travel and then find that the escort is booked. However, thanks to this site, there are often several alternatives if you are traveling to a major city or even near a major city. On the other hand..I have booked an appointment in advance and then had my plans change due to circumstances beyond my control. In such cases the escort needs to be informed as soon as possible so he can book other clients for that time. That is the most basic courtesy.

Sometimes I know that I will be in a certain city and want to hire a certain escort weeks or months in advance. In that case I usually contact the escort to let him know of my interest and ask whether he expects to be available during that general time period (he may make travel plans in advance, too). If he says yes, then I ask when he would like me to contact him again to make more specific arrangements. If he says to call/email him a week before the date, I feel sure he is reliable. If he tells me to contact him the day before, or on the day I want to get together, then I put the whole thing in the questionable category and start looking at other possibilities.
