rvwnsd
I'm not sure which is worse - that someone made a toilet cake or that they were dumb enough to put forth all that effort without having a contract stipulating they would get pad for it. + azdr0710
I could add "next level" to the Overused Words thread, but I thought this was more indicative of civilization's fall.......marketing a phone on how you can coordinate fashion choices with it....... Cultivating next-level style with a fashionable phone that helps you flaunt your best outfits and stand out in a crowd. This is how we flex. How would you unfold your world with Flex Mode on Galaxy Z Flip3? EDIT: I apologize that the audio apparently opens automatically when this thread is opened......must be "next level" or something..... mike carey
@azdr0710 does 'next level' mean 'second storey'? + FrankR and + azdr0710 1
jeezifonly
52 minutes ago, mike carey said: @azdr0710 does 'next level' mean 'second storey'? Next level is a term borrowed from gaming, meaning achievement in the game where “levels” are a comparative measurement of skill before winning or defeated. As applied to things being marketed, it usually means “noticeably better” and/or “ownership at our price point serves as the indication of your financial success” whether or not that’s actually true. I have a client who has a little side hustle occasionally selling his table at Raos through one of these sites. I've used Appointment Trader a few times when there was no other way into a table. It's served its purpose.

Btw, the restaurant mentioned in the article (https://www.tatiananyc.com), sucks balls. Afro-Caribbean food "inspired’ by NYC Bodegas. You know where you can get good "Bodega inspired" food in NYC?…..in just about any NYC Bodega. It’s a ridiculous rip off. NYTimes #1 restaurant two years in a row? It’s a sad joke. Don't worry about it too much though, because even if you wanted to try it, you’ll never get in. The sea of lemmings begging to get in and appear "cool", will fill the place to the brim for years to come. + azdr0710
