Portillos dipped beef (wet, with peppers) and a Chicago-style hotdog.  No ketchup, ever.

Chicago Botanical Gardens _ Northbrook IL.  Drive up to Fort Sheridan, check out the lake.  Volo Auto Musuem - Volo, IL  Train Museum - Union, IL

Where in the NW suburbs are you staying? Park Ridge, Niles, Arlington Heights, Rolling Meadows, and the various Barringtons are all considered "Northwest Suburbs" but are miles and miles apart.

metra takes you downtown fairly easy

 

With no traffic you are 30 minutes from lakeview/lincoln park.

I'm not sure whether he would want to travel to Glenview, but I had fun with William Ericson. This is Pride weekend, so escorts might not be available Sat and Sun. However, you could easily take Metra from Glenview to Union Station and get to Pride in the Park on Saturday. Grant Park is only a mile or so from Union Station. You could Uber/Lyft or take CTA, but walking is the best way to take in the architecture of downtown Chicago.

I have known Bill Erickson for some time and have hired him about 5 times.  Always fun if you are into hairy men.  His partner is also available and is a very sexy South American, Argentinean I believe.  Hire him when I was in Palm Springs in the morning and hired William for the afternoon.  A fun time was had by all, and by all, I mean me.
