Assuming there is a real person behind that ad and not just a scammer, I will point out that the ad is a little vague. What he's clear about is that he is not willing to have sex with anyone right away, not even for money.  What he is NOT clear about is whether he expects to be paid (or even just "treated well") when taken out for dates.  He is looking for "successful" men, after all.

In the Netherlands there is a concept called “paid date”. Maybe we need to do that here.

Basically he's looking for a free ride based on his looks and personality. His interest as a person would need to be tested. Obviously he's not interested in working for a living. Sort of reminds me of the old days when good looking girls looked for a suitable mate to support them. Not sure rentmen is the right venue. I guess he doesn't have an entree to the circles that his type of candidates move in.

Apparently the fellow was looking for the "Seeking Arrangements" website and accidentally listed on Rent.men instead.

In the end, it wouldn't be a bad idea for Rent.men to create a section for long term business relationships.

As I understand it, the fees on Seeking are high. Would certainly be easy enough for Rent.men to undercut their price and open up their site to a new audience. 🤑

Well, if it works for him, why not? It's easy for us to be cynical, but if someone advertised on RM doesn't suit one of us it's not their fault.

MintBoys has that "live in boyfriends" section they first put up during the pandemic, but MintBoys isn't exactly the most reputable site.

 

Also - at the beginning of the pandemic, MintBoys asked customers to write them with "success stories" from that section. I haven't seen any...
