This post-pandemic qualitative research paper related to male commercial sex work, in the journal Sexes, may be of interest due to this message board’s themes. I have read it, but not the 2 other articles (not MSW-focused) that you should be able to access, if keen, via the periodical’s ‘special issues’ link.

You may observe that G Mitchell’s 2015 book Tourist Attractions is not referenced although a 2011 paper is. The article linked here is a meta-synthesis of dozens of research papers, a lengthy read as it is.
