Yahoo's (recent?) double standard.

Recommended Posts

I heard a friend tell me that they posted a quip about a person in public service who is well known, and their comment was rejected due to being inappropriate. No biggie - we got a laugh out of it (but it IS not to be shared here per Company of Men rules).

Later in the day, he noticed that a comment went un-blocked that was blatantly racist (not interpreted as such, but flat out hateful and unconscionable, comparing a race with an animal group) that went through, and plenty of time had gone by for fellow bigots to give the comment a "like".

How is this allowed? Block one comment from seeing the light of day, I get it. Permitting evil cruelty (sure, an opinion, but really wondering who is making the call on what goes and what stays)?
