RNC in Milwaukee

Recommended Posts

Doing a little recon for a friend. I am neither an escort nor a Republican, but are any providers thinking of going to Milwaukee for the Republican National Convention next month? It brings in a ton of people from delegates to support staff to law enforcement to media for all the support and infrastructure required. Curious about thoughts.

A quick scan of the Milwaukee RM and RMass listings doesn't show travelling profiles for the RNC period.  It's possible some guys will go but aren't announcing it in their travel plans, but I don't think it's drawing a lot of attention in advance.

This was a headline/punchline that made the rounds in 2016 but one imagines there might be a kernel of truth to it. As curt mentions, DC is known for endless demand and I can vouch that Ottawa is the same. I confess I'm considering it... theoretically I'm kind of torn about the ethical side of things — surely it's a bit weird to knowingly accept what could very well be some ill-gotten bloody MAGA bucks.... But, then again, I'll gladly make a Republican staffer poorer for my sake. And to be fair I hardly ever know or feign to guess at the source of the dollars I receive from many other clienets, whose privacy I rightfully and necessarily must respect.

Tempting indeed... would be interesting just to test the premise anyhow

Yeah, not a big city for a convention of that size. I’m from Pittsburgh originally (where I see you’re spending some upcoming time), and they had to work for years to add hotel rooms downtime to sufficiently host bigger conventions.

I see a lot of providers had their travel dates set for the exact dates of the RNC in Milwaukee 😆 I wonder what that was like for them

I've neither been to Milwaukee nor a political convention; but, now I'll plan to attend the 2028 RNC in Houston knowing that there should be a wide array of visiting escorts.  I'll be free to travel more four years from now than I do nowadays.  It would be fun to hire in the evening each night after attending the convention.

Unfortunately, he's too ethical to out those hypocrites.

So not outing hypocrites is the ethical thing to do? Interesting. I don't think outing everyone and anyone in general is necessarily ethical....but I always thought outing hypocrites was a rather admirable act from an ethical point of view -- unless one thinks being hypocritical is an admirable trait to be encouraged.

Professional ethics, not everyday ethics. There's a difference.

I didn't realize that the Hippocratic Oath, The American Institute of Architects Code of Ethics, or state bar regulations for attorneys have clauses that direct professionals to overlook unethical behavior by their peers, smile weakly, and hope it goes away.

The only difference is that professionals are often terrified of doing the right thing when they could be ostracized by their peers; that doesn't mean the ethics are any different.

But all of those codes have very strict prohibitions on disclosing anything about CLIENTS.  The earlier poster was speaking about escorts outing clients because they're hypocrites.  Any respectable escort knows that maintaining confidentiality is an essential part of the relationship with the client.  Imagine what would happen to an escort's business, even one of the most popular, if he publicly outed one of his clients due to a dispute about politics.

I'll take my providers with a strong sense of confidentiality, thank you, without worrying about whether that confidentiality is contingent on whether they agree with my politics or my religion or what baseball team I root for.  That confidentiality is mutual and I wouldn't think of outing him (or trashing him on this site, for that matter) for any reason not related to the services provided.
