I doubt guys place an ad because they are horned up and want to have fun but because they need money. Besides if something goes wrong there's no way to identify the "provider", no customer service to report to, IP address, CC on file, etc. Is like going to Meridian Hill Park here in DC but even more anonymous. Your choice if that's what you want but at least meet them in a public place. Good luck! RM is a bit formal but it's also safer. soloyo215 Posted June 21 Share Posted June 21 (edited) The way I see this whole thing is more from a larger perspective, which means that regardless of what platform we use, there will always be risk involved, financial risk, personal safety risk and health risk. All we can do is minimize it to the best of our knowledge and abilities. More reliable sites like RM have had a few bad apples, causing bad experiences to some clients. It's a matter of what level of risk we are comfortable with. I agree that some sites are safer than others. STG looks terrible and not that professionally organized (not to mention that it doesn't look like the administration monitors what people post). This is not a recognized profession, leave alone protected or regulated. Caution and precautions are key at all times. Yes, flying someone in that you have not met before is a high-risk endeavor IMHO. I would also feel more comfortable sticking with flying in an older provider if I was going blind. I have had a guy that I had met twice previously fuck me over and scammed me out of money. Lesson learned. Be smart, think twice and good luck!
