+ APPLE1
I don't care for them. That style reminds me of quick, haphazard sketches as opposed to finished product. It then makes me question if the writing is a quality finished product. I am not saying this to be mean. I am saying this because, I'm sure you know that art/cover art influences book sales, and I think it's a perspective you may want to consider going forward. EDIT: I did go to your website via another post on here. The style of the first pic there, I think dated "April 29, 2021" within the pic, would have made me more interested in pursuing your writing. + BenjaminNicholas
I admire anyone who can sketch/draw. I cannot, so I find the talent to be an incredible one. I like your work. To me, it's got influences of Lautrec. Andy768, Just Chuck, cany10011 and 2 others 2

Lautrec was quite a horny guy living amid the prostitutes, I mean cancan girls, of Montmartre. Love his race horse sketches.

Assuming that we’re talking about Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec…. I don’t see it. I really like both artists though! 49 minutes ago, cany10011 said: Lautrec was quite a horny guy living amid the prostitutes, Which led to him dying at age 36 from alcoholism and syphilis….. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Henri_de_Toulouse-Lautrec Just sayin’….be careful out there boys! thomas

Haha, it's funny that artists have a LONG history with sex work, often adjacent. I think this is because were obsessed with "truth" and if you want to hear the truth of human nature, ask someone in sex work they will give you all the details. cany10011

Hey! Thanks, I appreciate your feedback! Lots of art out there for lots of different types of people. These illustrations are indeed suppose to look like quick haphazard sketches.. the whole concept of this series is an erotic travel journal. The main character sketches in his notebooks! 😃 Again, I appreciate that you took the time to respond! Have a great one.
