It then makes me question if the writing is a quality finished product. I am not saying this to be mean. I am saying this because, I'm sure you know that art/cover art influences book sales, and I think it's a perspective you may want to consider going forward. EDIT: I did go to your website via another post on here. The style of the first pic there, I think dated "April 29, 2021" within the pic, would have made me more interested in pursuing your writing. These illustrations are indeed suppose to look like quick haphazard sketches.. the whole concept of this series is an erotic travel journal. None of these look "haphazard". Fashion designers use this sort of quick sketch for all their work and many other processional artists will do a quick watercolor rendering as a "study" for a more elaborate oil painting. I actually own TWO different study works from two important artists because I found the study to be as beautiful as their finished work and more wonderful because it felt more full of emotion and energy than a piece that was worked on over many days or weeks. caramelsub Posted July 5 Share Posted July 5 Lovely drawings. I used to draw and sketch really well as a child up until my pubescent age of around 12. But ironically, I’d hate drawing men, because I felt their bodies were too boxy in shape, and too boring to draw. I always preferred and loved drawing women, with their curves, fashion, and hair.
