I'm a Paralegal, Turns Out a Lawyer at My Firm Escorts, What to do?

Hi! I am a young paralegal who works at a big firm. A week or so ago, I was looking for someone. Well, it turns out there is a lawyer at my firm who hooks on the side. Not gonna lie, he's attractive AF and want to hire him, but understand it's completely inappropriate. Maybe pay for videos and sexy pics? lol

What should I do? Thanks!

If this person didn't advertise, were you going to ask him on a date?  If yes, then proceed with asking him on a date.  If not, then move along and find someone else to hire.

I would follow this regardless of profession.  Being lawyers is not relevant.  Working for the same company is relevant.

Do not contact him or engage him in any way.  Block him if you must. As far as you are concerned, he does not exist.

I work for a very large firm, so I know of him and he doesn't know of me.

This Company of Men exists to share our experiences with other professionals so that others need not rely solely on advertisement photographs when deciding to hire.

You have the benefit of knowing this professional in person and don't like his personality.  That's enough to make most men walk away and not hire that person.  There are plenty of sexy men for hire with whom you might actually enjoy their company.

Do you want to do the ethical thing?  Or find a way around that?

I'm trying to decide, my two heads are saying two different things...

And? You do not want to be on his radar.  If he's a lawyer and you're a paralegal, the minute you become a potential threat to him professionally they will find a way to show you the door. Exposing him, or threatening to do so, is not likely to work in your favor.

Or you can fuck around and find out.  Enjoy!

He's an associate at a large firm, so I don't think he could fire me. But I should avoid I know

No, he could not fire you. But he could file a complaint with one of his superiors or HR. Then they will take disciplinary action, which could result in your termination.

You've mentioned you work for a large firm. They tend to have human resources policies. See the policy on personal relationships among colleagues (or something like that).

Just stay away. You should avoid creating trouble or causing issues in places that are important to you, such as your workplace. It's about maintaining boundaries and respecting the environments where you work to avoid potential conflicts and negative consequences. In other words, keep your professional and personal spaces separate and free of unnecessary drama or complications to ensure they remain pleasant and functional.

I was about to post why does a lawyer need a side gig as an escort but there was that judge who was doing onlyfans so anything is possible. 🤣

What he does is his own business!

Don't cross him, mind your own business. Live and let live.

Ohers have seen his advertisement is up to them to "report" him to the firm or not.
