DavidNY
They all do. RM reviews are worthless and RM support is no help, they make their money off providers paying to keep their ads up

jusmeinbr
This whole episode where someone goes from a superstar to a total disaster is so disheartening to read about. It goes back to what I posted earlier on a separate post about the near-nonexistent trust level that I have as a prospective client now versus a totally different environment 15 years ago when my trust level was (and I believe justifiably) WAY, WAY higher. I guess the only upside to having New Orleans as my home hiring base is that superstars have no interest (way too little money to be had versus NY or LA) to even visit the city. Hence, this type of drastic turnaround can’t readily transpire here. Thanks to everyone who contributes their encounters good or bad because it just seems to me that this arena is becoming more and more difficult to navigate through, and it would be yet even more difficult to do so without our ability to post shared experiences in a centralized forum like this. DavidNY
Update: Theo worked out a payment plan with me to return a portion of the deposit (I approved this deal). He would like me to tell you guys this was a misunderstanding. Thank you all for this website and your support in keeping escorts honest. Keith838
@DavidNY I'm very sorry this happened to you. But I also don't understand why anyone would send a deposit electronically. This is a scam waiting to happen. There are so many great, hot, excellent service providers who take payment in cash at the end of a session. Cash on the barrelhead is the only way to go for me. + Pensant

DavidNY
I will also say, he was a wonderful escort on our first date. Not sure what happened, probably got desperate and embarrassed to say so. He is forgiven and I hope you guys get the good HONEST version of him going forward. I probably let him off too easy, and he doesn’t appreciate it, but I do know it’s a hard job and have a soft spot for guys who do it. I have also hired great honest escorts since this incident so I know there are good ones out there who deserve the money. I’d rather give my money to them. I like to think that all of us who have this hobby stick together to get bad escorts out of the game so we are protected. Plus they give good escorts a bad name. I’ve had so many really great guys, honest, work hard, take pride in their reputation. Theoriley aka “”Zach” is a scumbag. Yes, they don't do anything. I once was scammed by a client that made me travel 5 hours to meet him and when I was in his city he blocked me. He never gave me a deposit nor anything. I never asked for it because I was desperate for the money and was afraid he flaked. Long story short. He is definitely legit and a regular client on RM. When I confronted him with another account he made up a story saying I had bad reviews (which I know was a lie because I have none). He was a coward and blocked me again. I wasted money in transportation and the hotel. DavidNY

DavidNY
To be fair, Theo reached out to me and apologized. Stated he was desperate for money and made a mistake. He has made amends and apologized for not communicating better. If you guys want to give him a second chance, that’s up to you. We are as square as I think he is able to get right now. I told him to use the rest of the deposit as a donation to help his situation. I wish him the best and don’t think he would try to do this again. I personally will not be booking him again, but I did have a good first date with him. Edited October 16 by DavidNY

It sounds as though you had very positive feelings about him after your first date, which you said was an overnight so there was plenty of time to connect beyond the sex. If those were reciprocated AT ALL, why didn't he come to you, tell you he was in a money crunch and ask if you would give him some money now in exchange for your next date. It's a much more honest, up-front approach than scamming you for a fake deposit. And, from the way you write about him, I am guessing in that case you'd have given him the money without hesitation. I've done that a few times with guys if I trusted them (even after one meeting). Apart from one scammer who ghosted me, each time I gave an 'advance' to a provider, it established a deeper and more rewarding relationship with him. Their generosity with time and effort going forward actually made those advances a great investment. Any time you give an advance to a provider or change anything outside the agreed-upon financial arrangements, the lines blur quickly, and the foundation of that “relationship” automatically shifts. Be careful. + Pensant and Saabster
