Some providers do discriminate and treat men of certain age differently, and that include providers who are over 40. Age discrimination has been quite common in this world and in the gay community in general for quite some time now. Sometimes, a client is happy with a totally mechanical interaction and doesn't really care about the provider's attitude (that's me from time to time), but a provider's obvious disappointment at first meeting ruins the possibility of forming a real connection with him and poisons the experience. One of the talents of a professional escort is not showing any disappointment and in fact showing enthusiasm for the session on first meeting. The logical side of the client's brain knows the provider is there for the money, but the emotional side wants to think that the provider is enjoying the time. I just a couple of days ago saw a guy's ad that typed "nobody over the age of 59". If you don't get it the other way around, providers run the gamut of being open to business from anyone who is of legal age, to people who flat out refuse to see people based not only on their age being too high, but their race, political persuasion, height etc. That's their business to be limiting, and our business to avoid them.
