+ wanderwest
Hey there! I’m curious if anyone has a recommendation for a good hotel in nyc to host guys for fun times over a few days in Manhattan. Ideally, decent sized rooms, maybe a pool, and most importantly, easy access for visitors to come to rooms. + DrownedBoy
+ Kman
I found the Paramount at Times Square was a good location. No pool though. MikeBiDude
Solution hungry4darkmeat Posted August 4 Solution Share Posted August 4 I love the city club and the hotel on rivington- both have rooms with balconies and are generally drama free and relatively affordable. Theyll leave you alone and aren’t going to make a big deal about your guests
+ ThroatCummer
When you say "easy access" you mean not needing a key to get into the elevator so someone can come straight to the room? If that is the case, they are few and far between in NYC these days. The two dozen or so hotels I use all over the city couldn't be considered "easy access" based on your post. jackcali

If this is your definition of easy access, you might try one of the boutique hotels. The Gotham is my favorite. It's small enough that they don't limit access to the elevators (edit: at least not during the daytime). The downside is the lobby traffic is very light, so any visitor will be seen by the doorman, one or two people at the desk staff and a bellboy. If anonymity is your goal, then a room in a big hotel may be a better choice. because there's so much lobby traffic that nobody will notice you coming downstairs and collecting someone. DamizzonNYC
M Social hotel is a great location, has decent - if small - rooms, and a super active lobby where nobody will notice anything. Unfortunately, no-key walk-up is a rarity these days in NYC, and not usually worth the sacrifices you have to make. AtlTopGuy
So this sorta begs the question of how do you ask a provider to dress "appropriately" (broad term here I know) so as to not draw major attention in the lobby? For example I hired once and all the pictures in his profile showed either him either nude or in what I will call casual clothing (nothing shocking). When he showed up he was literally in a tshirt that proclaimed he was a "Hustler: Available" shorts that would make Daisy Dukes seem modest, and more jewelry, rings, and bangles than I could count. What is under the clothes is fair game....but at times outward discretion is needed.....everyone has a style they believe is "appropriate"....so how do you guys approach this. It's not a straightforward as like "I pay close attention to my hygiene and will be showered and with fresh breath and I ask the same of you". + wanderwest, BonVivant and pubic_assistance 1
+ purplekow
You could say something like: I have business colleagues staying at the same hotel so please dress so as not to raise eyebrows should we run into them. You could be more direct: I love answering the door and finding a hot guy with a jacket and tie and then hope to find some sexy underwear as I strip him down. Or more direct: Please wear a button down shirt. I love unwrapping the package from the top to the package. Or: Meet me at the hotel bar and pretend we are business colleagues and convince me to take you back to my room. Dress the part. Or the most simple: Dress to avoid attention in the lobby and make me stand at attention after the outer layer comes off. + wanderwest
The Gotham, the hotel on rivington, the paramount, the city club… all such great choices. Thank you so much for the suggestions! hungry4darkmeat
Hesolucky
As a provider I’ve had clients ask me to dress discreet meaning nothing too tight or loud please. I wasn’t offended and completely understood. I’ve also had someone ask me to show off because they like that everyone will be staring at their guy. Ummmmm….Daisy Dukes paired with an almost none existent string muscle T and a partially exposed jockstrap. That draws attention in a "nice hotel". Trust me. moonlight, + DrownedBoy, jackcali and 1 other 2

Personally, I had only one awkward incident in a hotel in Milan. I was at the hotel bar with a couple of fashion models and a friendly chatty American couple asked if we are family, father and sons... An escort showed up in almost “daisy dukes”, and a rip/torn 1/2 tank top with his midriff exposed, parked across the street and gave at least one of my neighbors an eyeful of “noticed”. + wanderwest, + DrownedBoy and + nycman
BuffaloKyle
Don't forget as well @wanderwest to bring a friend along so you're not bored and have someone to talk to. I know the perfect choice too... 👉👉BUFFALOKYLE👈👈 😆 Edited August 7 by BuffaloKyle thomas, + wanderwest, + azdr0710 and 2 others 1

Yeah, there was a popular twink in Chicago years ago, and some visiting businessman hired him. He advised future clients to have him dress differently, since, in the guy's words, he dressed like a "young gay man"....
