King Spa NJ

Recommended Posts

Located in Fort Lee in North Jersey, it's my first time going there after trying some neighboring spas in the vicinity. I know... I ain't looking for a scrub or massage so let's talk about the other stuff. I heard that they closed the steam section permanently due to indecent acts.. Yeah we can't help it, whoever getting it on the steam should have been more discreet. But I read from reddit about an online article that a massage therapist sexually assaulted a client in the spa (dunno if client was male or female, article didn't specify), which prompted them to close the steam too so that the DOH won't be at their backs, which drove some of their patrons out?...

So it's my first time there and as a male entering the facility, they have the men's wet section where you have to be completely naked, and downstairs is the coed area like the other types of saunas, lounges and restaurants. I was literally observing the types of patrons that they have. It's a mix of asian, prolly korean, that are only there to scrub, some straight men (I guess because when I went downstairs, I saw their gfs or wives or friends or whatever) and what surprised me, are a few gay patrons. I can tell by the look in their eyes. But like my huge question is, how??

The door entry dividing the locker area from the wet section is half open, and there's a staff member guarding the door and handing out towels. Idk if it's been that way forever? Or was it after the indecency issues. Saw cameras on the locker section, like wtf? They can see people undressing and free balling. Jacuzzis and pools are in the middle of the floor, exposed to everyone. Korean scrubber who always has a customer. And the sauna room facing toward the door entry. The bottom half of the glass door of the sauna was painted maybe for modesty purposes but the light is so bright, you can see everybody from the inside like an aquarium. Showers and other sections are pretty much exposed as well. So how can they get some action inside?? I'm so curious? Or maybe I'm just misreading everything, and those are just some gay guys pretty much having their relaxation time? Anybody from NJ or NYC area who's been going there recently?

Ya I went there 2 weeks ago for the first time after reading about how cruising happened there on this forum and reddit and the whole time I was questioning how? Like the member above said everything is out the in the open and you can see from the entrance of the wet area everything that’s going on.

I did have one guy stroke and signal at me in the dry sauna but I was like no way LOL the dry sauna has huge window that is visible from the outside. Not worth the risk of getting kicked out imo.

It’s a nice place for relaxing and seeing some eye candy - I had few hot dudes walking around naked the Saturday I went but that’s about it. I wouldn’t risk trying to cruise there without being banned.

This is what I know:

1. Most places, including adult movie theatres, peep shows and bars in NJ that I've been to, especially those who have women of any kind, either as employees or features live or in porn, are heavily guarded and monitored for activities that go against their policies.

2. A lot, and I mean a lot of gay men exaggerate and overinflate what goes on (if anything) in places, probably in an attempt at attracting people to go there. I've been reading exaggerated charcaterizations of places since the 90s. It baffles me why some gay men do that, but some just do.

3. Every single time I've heard of any spa-type of place with some kind of sexual harassment, misconduct or assault acussations, rumors or actual proven cases, it's always been places where hetero people and/or women go or are employed. That has been the case in USA and in countries other than USA. Of course, this is only my experience (and in no way am I implying that sexual misconduct and unwanted sexual advances don't occur among gay men).

4. Many places that cater men only, but that want to offer a relaxing, non-sexual experience have facilities monitored, exposed and as public as possible. Most of the times it's to prevent some idiot who can't be discrete ruining it for everybody, or because some idiot who can't be discrete has already runied it for everybody,
