How the hell are these masseurs STILL in business?!

Hey guys I do not appreciate the lumping me in as a “scammer.”   You question how I’ve been “exceedingly resilient” after all these years?  Well here are some reasons:

*I have massaged over 8000 clients in the past 16 years all over the country, Canada and the UK.

*I have dozens of 5 STAR reviews on both Masseurfinder and RentMasseur.  (I used to have more in the MassageM4M.com days)  Four of these reviews have been written this summer alone.

*All of my reviews are from REAL CLIENTS from regulated and verified sites. (Company of Men does not regulate or verify any posters whatsoever.)

*I have maintained a 20% referral rate from clients.

*I’m quick to respond by text and email for each and every client.

*I always give the full amount of time of the massage.  You want 60/90 minutes, you receive 60/90 minutes (and sometimes more)

The oiled up table, or as MichaelPHD put it “slip and slide” application, is actually one of my best selling points.  It’s just the right amount of oil, not dripping onto the floor or anything.  It’s not for everybody, and anyone can request a sheet on the table instead.

I’m sorry (and really I mean it) that any of you have had a bad experience with me.  (Assuming you were actual clients).   But posters @NHC983 and especially @MichaelPHD bringing up their experiences over a decade ago??   And @MichaelPHD, why are you so determined to keep bashing me with old threads dating back 2015?   Not only do I find this action highly questionable, but also done with malicious intent.   As if you want to put me out of business altogether.

@JMS posted in this thread his intention to hire me, but because of the negativity of posters from this forum, Company of Men, he didn’t hire me.  Let it be known that I have lost HUNDREDS of clients because of the comments made on this forum since 2015, with threads that are scathingly untrue.

I encourage anyone like @JMS who wants to hire me for his next massage to trust my reviews on both Masseurfinder and RentMasseur.  Such as these posted recently on RM:

By ChrisinOmaha:

“I’ve had other massage therapists, but not one as personable and kind as Andrew Eric.
A true professional with wickedly strong hands.
Already eager for another session.”

By TDubbs

“An excellent massage experience. AndrewEric is friendly and welcoming. The lomi lomi technique was new for me, and I thoroughly enjoyed the combination of strokes, stretches, and pressure. I left the session with more energy than when I arrived. I highly recommend a session with this talented and handsome masseur.”

Before concluding, I do want to address the overall reoccurring theme that posters have made on this forum.  You use terms such as “rude,” “disrespectful” and “off-putting.”  But how so?   I really want some specifics please because I want to do better.   My goal to please and fully satisfy every client, but no one can please everyone.  Plus, my massage is not for everybody.  Also keep in mind that if your session was over 10 years ago, my question does not apply to you.

And one more poster I want to address is @Capitano.   Why did you start this masseur-bashing thread is the first place?   “How the Hell are these masseurs in business?”  Shows intent-to-cause harm to fellow masseurs who are trying to make a living, put food on the table, while doing what they love to do.   I wish you could have started something more positive.  “Who are the best masseurs out there and why?”  It baffles me why folks out there can be so negative.  My opinion for whatever it’s worth.

I have to say that I appreciate Dr Eric's engagement here, thank you! I admit that I had no idea there would be a market for 30 minute massages, so I learned something new here. I am also a fan of respectful and honest communication, it's a chance to make improvements and get new perspectives. As far as this thread, you'd be surprised how many scammers bordering criminality and otherwise awful masseurs are there, so a thread where we list them all and compare notes is useful for us clients.

I think we might need to recruit a mystery client or two to try Dr Eric's massage and report back 😉

Maybe his massage is actually very good, but I am skeptical about his "people skills." This may be at the root of the problems some have experienced. Accusing me that I want to cause harm to masseurs shows a certain level of cluelessness or at least low emotional intelligence. Not a good trait for a provider in this kind of industry. BTW Yes, I'd love to drive scammers and bad masseurs out of this industry, but that would actually HELP good masseurs in addition to the obvious benefits for us clients.

Thank you Capitano for your supportive reply.   I’m a fan of respectful and supportive communication here as well.   Also I got a bit defensive last night as I wrote this, and for that I apologize.

@MichaelPhd I also would like to apologize to you for what I wrote accusing you of “malicious intent.”  As I do want to know why you repeatedly keep refreshing old threads from 2015 that can harm my business (and it has to a large extent), I also know that in our encounters it was less than ideal for you.  In fact I know you tried me twice already.  If you would give me a third opportunity to serve you, I would be happy to do so 🙂

That also goes for any of you who have posted negative posts about me in the past.  You don’t have to tell me who you are or that you are on this forum.  Just come and enjoy a great session, as I fully support Capitano’s suggestion!

I’m here if you still want to offer me suggestions to improve my massage sessions moving forward. We can all be more positive, including myself 🙂

Dr Eric

I seem to recall he tried to be escort of the year some time ago.  In the m4m days.  The whining, the crying, the hysterics ... totally messed up!

And 130 excellent reviews....🤷‍♂️

Before we get too zealous in "taking down" masseurs let's remind ourselves. There can be some pretty batshit crazy clients out there too. I've heard some really concerning stories as I'm sure others have too. Stalking and other things. So it works in both directions folks.

I agree 100%. There are many ways in which clients can be weird or unfair.  I get annoyed and roll my eyes when I read posts that make it clear that someone expects or even demands escort services, sometimes even at massage prices. First of all, it's totally legitimate for masseurs to NOT want to go there, and second, expecting those who are willing to go there to do it at massage rates is just cheap and tacky. If you want sex, go the escort route, pure and simple.

Thankfully, when it comes to stalkers, one can engage law enforcement and/or threaten legal action. Something that is more difficult for clients dealing with small time scammers and bad masseurs to which this thread is devoted.

Honestly, some of these comments make me wonder about some of you guys. I have gotten numerous massages from AndrewEric over the last five years and have never had a bad a experience.  Though I have not seen him in awhile--until I saw him today--I try to see him when his travels and my schedule match up. I have actually seen him in 3 different cities (once in his home). He is one of 5 guys that I will adjust my schedule to try to see when they travel through Houston.

I have always found him friendly and I find that his style (lomi lomi) works really well on me. So many of the sensual masseurs are basically rub-and-tug and don't give real massages (which can be fun sometimes). AndrewEric does actual quality masage but with the sensuality of full body contact. I find the shower a nice sort of cool down from the massage, with some hugging (which I really appreciate). And while some other guys endorse deeper touch (I have massaged some masseurs' prostates), I have never experienced him respond negatively to my touch.

The hate some of you guys are laying on him just makes me ask "How did you create such a negative interaction?"
