Just curious...How much of a fee should be paid upfront..outside of the Plane Ticket..when flying and escort in for a weekend..

i only require the funds for the plane ticket as a deposit, which is, of course, non-refundable.

Hey Talvin and DC..The escort wanted the plane ticket mailed to him two weeks in advance and requires 75 percent deposit up front.. Is this average...

 

It is not an agency and his reviews are okay although they do not include any for out of town travel..

 

Accepting these terms kinda puts me out there..Who pays if he cancels on my non-refundable ticket...and how much should be paid if he is not up to my expectations....you already know what I would do if he were local:-)

I would not send more than 50% either. To me 50% plus airfare is being fair enough

 

This is a tough one and I can see why you are being so cautious. If it were me (being the client) I would have flown to his area and got a hotel and hired him for that day. If he was up to my expectations then I would have hired him for more time.

 

You could start a thread about this escort asking any clients who has hired him to write you privately and if you had any questions about him they could provide you with them.

 

Things you might want to ask him. Are his pictures recent? I know a lot of guys will advertise pictures well over a year old. And a person can change a lot in just one year depending if they keep themselves in shape ect.

 

As far as deposits though, I cannot tell you what is average as I really don't know how other escorts handle advance payments. But I can tell you that 75% is a bit excessive. 50% plus airfare is a bit more fare to me.

If the escort cancells the escort should pay back the non-refundable ticket because it can still be used in his name (minus the change fee). Clients never purchase my tickets due to the fact that I like protecting my name. I always purchase my tickets however, I always make sure that both parties check on airfare and see who comes up with the lower price.

you all have lost it guys, I am laughing so hard at this whole redicoulas thing.

 

I think everyoine forgot abouyt the good time were all supposed to be having, that can be priceless.

 

Anytime I have been hired it always been a blast, I love seeing clients leave smiling and knwoing that they really enjoyed them selves and that feeling that life is good.

 

I think if that can be accomplished then who cares is you even go 15 minutes over.

I hate that. I know some guys are worried about going over and thats very respectful. However I also let him know that it isn't all that necessary. I would rather we have a great session and go a little over than be distracted by him checking his watch every five minutes. I will check if I'm helping a client stretch for a massage session (I actually will time those) or if he has specific requests and I don't want to get too hung up on one thing so the client leaves satisfied. Also traditionally escorts only charge for their time. Charging by the cup full is called something else . I personally don't have an issue with that something else, but a client shouldn't be surprised when I say he still has half an hour left and invite him to stay. I also prefer to have the client stay even if its just to socialize and get to know each other a bit better.
