I recently met an escort who impressed me for several reasons, not the least of which is that at age 20, he actually spells correctly and has decent grammar skills. :) (No, I can't tell you who he is, for fear of being accused of shameless promotion). ;) Turns out, the kid was a championship speller in Middle School. :o

Being the rapidly advancing middle-aged anal-retentive middle-school champion speller that I am (was?), I often cringe at Escort listing info, as it painfully reminds me that a whole generation of American youth (or two?) has been schooled such that they CAN'T FUCKING SPELL!! I've been keeping a list of my favorites. Anyone care to add to the list? Just for fun, of course.}(

Of course, some escorts combine excellent spelling and grammar skills with, well, a certain level of candor. Example (name withheld -- you can find him yourselves):

< I don't want to come across as some arrogant prick, which I am not, but I am confident in my looks, features, and performance. It all comes down to the fact that money talks. >

I guess that about says it all. :+

I just did a search of escorts and couldn't find one named "Speling Airors". Does he work in the USA or should I search in South America?

I also searched under the name "Agreejus" and couldn't find that city listed anywhere (either USA or South America).

Could you please be more specific about how I can find this very rare escort?

Only those two misspellings of versatile? I think that there is more versatility in the spelling of "versatile" than any other word!

Don't forget:

its/it's

they're/their/there

I also wanted to point out that people with learning disabilities, such as dyslexia, and people with attention deficit disorders can misspell terribly and still have above average intelligence. :)

Some items on your list are probably simple typing errors ("becasue", "maek") which I see all the time in emails, especially from a close friend, a magazine editor who has published four books. "Discrete", of course, is a real word and commonly confused with "discreet" (I have often seen this one even from well-educated writers). The rest are at least phonetically understandable. Although I, too, am an anal retentive type who has always prided himself on his spelling, I think it is actually a rather silly thing to be overly concerned about--similar to worrying about the clause that I just ended with a preposition.

Well, I can't spell worth crap, so for my long-winded posts on other forums I paste them into my webmail (not hotmail, doesn't seem to have any spell check, another one that I pay for) and do a quick check there. It's not a very good one though, about half the words I misspell are so bad it only flags them but doesn't have a guess... :) So I paste those into Dictionary.com and usually get the word I'm looking for.

Takes me longer to proof-read and correct a post then to type it... Then I notice an error after I've posted... d'oh! Where's the edit button? ;)

Did you hear the one about the dyslexic that tried to kill himself? He threw himself behind a bus! (rimshot)

Perfect. I now have a new excuse for my typos and words not properly spelled, such as STALKER when I mean to type DONNIE, ASSHOLE when I mean to type _______ and (tip of the hat to the Man With Fourteen Alias), ESCORT when I meant to type WHORE.

All kidding aside (and yes, that was a joke), English is not my first language, it is not even my second language. While that is not an excuse, it is offered merely as an explanation. In that regard, some escort listing sites do not allow you to preview your listing nor is it even possible to cut and paste language which is "spell checked" elsewhere.

It is certainly lazy and sloppy for me and others not to take the most absolute care possible. Does it reflect a lack of intellect or ability? No. Is it a basis for deciding whether an escort would be a good escort or not? Perhaps in your eyes, yes, in most? That is unlikely.

Well, I admitted to being anal retentive about spelling, but my post was meant to be tongue in cheek, so to speak. :9

I really thought the final quote would get some comments:

< I don't want to come across as some arrogant prick, which I am not, but I am confident in my looks, features, and performance. It all comes down to the fact that money talks. >

Anyone appreciate that candor from an escort? :+

COMMON ESCORT REVIEW ERRORS:

"I am dominate," rather than "dominant."

"The client was a middle-aged guy who loves young boys, the younger the better, and he said he loved that I was only 18 and had a smooth thin body," rather than "pedophile."

Here's a good one from Ted Matthews's review today: "I have phantasized Ted and my boy getting it on with me watching." I wonder if he'll also take Ted to see Fantom of the Opera. :p

Another line I enjoyed from that review: "He was very generous with his creamed cum and I enjoyed it." I wonder: do other escorts hold back and only give him half of their loads, keeping the rest bottled up in their balls for the next guy? And is creamed cum anything like creamed spinach? I'll have to ask Ted for the recipe (or is it on the can?). :p

Very funny. But seriously, you don't think that hiring men that look younger than 18 and actually SPANKING, in addition to fucking, them smacks of supressed pedophilia, do you?

It's hard to answer in the abstract. I wouldn't go so far as to call it peophilia or even to say that it "smacks of pedophilia," but it certainly seems as though lots and lots of "clients" are looking for boys who look as young as possible, and they seem to view having to wait until they're actually 18 as nothing more than an annoying and unwarranted legal impediment which interferes with what they would actually like.

I definitely think there's something a little unseemly (to put it mildly) for 50 year-olds to be so obssessed with having 18 year-olds as their sexual partners (and the younger-looking, the better), and I think it's equally unseemly whether it's homosexual or heterosexual men who want this (and there are plenty of both who do).

Having said that, it is necessary that we declare people to be consenting adults at some point, and if the line we choose is 18, then such liasons - as asthetically distatesful and psychologically questionable as they might be - are and should be perfectly legal.

Actually, the age of consent is not always defined as 18, as shown on the following site: http://www.avert.org/aofconsent.htm

I am certainly not going to vouch for the validity of this information, as we all know we can't always (or ever?) trust what we read on the internet, but I found it very curious to peruse the various ages of consent stated on this site.

I particularly found the fact that the site states the age of consent in the state of Pennsylvania as 16 in light of the recent allegations that the escort from Premiere who is accused of killing the guy in DC was not 18 when he fist started working. From this information, it appears that it would not have been an issue even if it was true (which of course, Nick from Premiere has already stated, was not)

The age of consent for having sex is not necessarily the same as the age of consent for being an escort.

In many states, it is legal to have sex with anyone over the age of 18, but it whether an escort is, say, 19 years old or older can make the difference between being charged with a felony or a misdemeanor, or what type or level of felony can be charged.

So, even in states where the age of consent for sex is 16, someone is still taking a much bigger risk if they hire an escort who is, say, 17, rather than 21 or older.

Not the least bit funny, imo. Sounds like you're a little pissed that you're really a hairy dominant who's business isn't as good as those of the smooth boy twinks. Since those clients don't hire you, then they must be pedophiles.

Don't you think a young man of 18 should have the right to market himself as an escort to clients? Or should that right be limited to older men. If you really consider clients who hire them to be pedophiles, then I guess you are a child murderer since you have no qualms about sending them to Iraq to be slaughered! :(

I would truly like to see you backup some of your rantings stated as facts, with some kind of verifiable proof, especially your statements about a harsher penalty for hiring a 19 y/o escort vs a 21 y/o escort.

And btw, a true pedophile would consider anyone over 12 to be over the hill. ;(
