I just want to welcome Stef (Stephen Lacoste) and Christopher from Houston (LittleBlondBoy) back to the Message Center. When I first started lurking here a few years ago they were regulars and it is good to see them back. I know there are many here that wish more Escorts would contribute here and I hope they stay awhile. It is also good to see SmallTownJohn make a post other than a travel post. I know after the little drama a few months ago John decided to stay away but I also Welcome his comments and hope he slides back in here.

 

I realize it is easy for Escorts to become Targets but they bring an interesting perspective to any conversation started here.

 

Also, I can't leave out my Bud, Sean Lespaganol (Houseboy), who has also popped back up the last few days with his humorous additions.

I only object when an escort uses this forum to shamelessly promote himself at the expense of the competition. It's especially unseemly for any well-Reviewed escort to engage in such behavior.

I agree completely - it shows great character to have the courage of one's convictions even at the risk of losing some business through opining on controversial matters. Ethan is a good example, as are Devon and Rick Munroe, all of whom buck the trend here of escorts who parade themselves around as walking advertisements and do very little other than brown-nose prospective clients by writing posts filled with contrived, gooey cotton candy.

Again, I agree completely - this is the flip-side of the compliments we just paid. One well-reviewed escort here is actually so desperate to build himself up by bashing other escorts (while his blindly worshipfully admirers have the gall to deny that he does it) that he even began keeping a blog on his website recently, and he devoted his very first blog entry to doing nothing other than demeaning and insulting other escorts in order ot make himself look good.

 

Here's an excerpt of his escort-bashing vulgarity (found at http://www.benjaminnicholas.com, under "Journal"):

 

<<Why must all escorts I meet be manic, depressed and deprived people? Normality isn’t always plentiful in this industry.

I’m convinced that one can escort, save his money and plan for a future. Is it really that tough? Hell, is it even that much tougher to remain MENTALLY stable in this industry? If escorts would just loosen up, try to enjoy an opportunity and not focus so much on treating everyone like an ATM, then maybe they wouldn’t find things so bad.>>

 

Here, this well-reviwed escort (whom I don't know want to name, because it's besides the point, really), tells his readers that "all escorts" he meets are "manic, depressed and deprived (sic)" -- and even posts some pictures of some escorts he's met for good measure, all of whom are, presumably, are "manic, despressed and deprived" (sic) -- unlike this escort, of course, who is not.

 

This escort also speaks disapprovingly of escorts who "treat everyone like an ATM" - unlike this escort, of course, who doesn't see "his guys" as a source of money, but rather, as friends (who have to pay him $2,000 to hang out with him), so you should hire him instead of those conniving, money-grubbing escorts he just bashed.

 

Is this an example of what you're talking about when you refer to escorts who "shamelessly promote himself at the expense of the competition"? If so, can you believe that there are people who are so in love with this escort that they deny that he demeans other escorts in order to build himself, even though this is what he chose to write about "all escorts" on his very first journal entry which he promotes to prospective clients?
