How Important is the Release?

In today's reviews a Seattle masseur named Eric is reviewed for his massage which, at $200, included release. Last week in Seattle I used Vic, a muscular Asian for an extended 90-minute massage at $100. There was no release, but it sure was a sensual masssage, one of the best I ever had. Do you guys prefer reviews of release massages, or do the non-sexual ones interest you too? Because my review of Vic would be pretty darn good.

I'd be interested in both. Actually, since I don't usually look for masseurs in the reviews, I hope you would post something in the masseurs section as well (even if it's just a pointer to the reviews: "I just reviewed a great masseur").

Even with release, $200 sounds pretty steep to me. I guess I should read the review.

In the review, the reviewer states that "He was friendly and professional on the phone but when I mentioned I might want to get fucked, he suggested we start with massage and oral and take it from there. I agreed to this approach although it disappointed me a bit."

Hence the $200 charge for "massage". If the client was looking for a sensual massage with just release, yes, the rate is generally lower. If you are looking for more than just release, you should expect to pay more. It seems like there are lots of clients looking for massage AND more for much less from trained professionals.

My answer, which I know is getting trite around here, is it depends. I hire masseurs for strictly therapeutic reasons when my arthritis is just killing me, and I hire when I'm horny, but don't want a full escort experience. In the first instance I really don't care about release, just relief. In the second I care very much, but I also want a good massage. There are a few guys who I like in either situation, but generally they are different guys for the two requirements.

Exactly right.

I hire MANY differet masseurs each year and all for the same reasons you just gave but, as you say, they are usually different men.

Sometime, when I am out of town, it is hard to know which is which.:(

I've just begun to hire masseurs, and if the guy does it in the nude and advertises as being interactive-- hell yes, I am desirous of a great release.

Two weeks ago I had a "massage" where the guy got off without exploding when I worked over his nips; he invited me back for the future, but I think not! I didn't enjoy the session as I thought I would.

Post on (both types of sessions)!!!!!!

Hmmm. I like both types of massage – non-sexual and erotic, though I tend to want the latter more. I do like to try different men when I travel, and as Texas Taurus says, it’s sometimes difficult to know what to expect from the regular massage sites. That’s why I appreciate the comments here. My best out-of town erotic massage experiences have come from recommendations in this forum and from posters when I ask them privately about their experiences. Notables have been Steve in Montreal and Matthew in Palm Springs.

Please, everyone, keep posting!

BTW, I have a great guy here at home!
