His website says "gratuities are very appreciated and not included in the quoted price"

 

In other words, he's looking for a tip. The quoted prices are a kind of minimum charge but he would really like more.

 

Nothing turns me off faster than this kind of attitude. If I have a really good session and feel a tip is warrented, I'll leave one. But to be told upfront that he'd like one is IMO not professional.

 

Generally speaking tips are given for good service when the service provider is NOT the owner of the business and is only receiving a portion of the monies paid (or is on an hourly wage). In his case he gets to keep 100% of his fee.

 

If the guy wants more $$$ he should just raise his prices, not beg for gratuities.

"2 Thumbs Down" Hoovillians! I thought this kid might give some competition to Justin (also of Santa Rosa), it is not the case.
