I sometimes have the same problem with the site search function. The MC search function works fine.

I use Mac OS X and the Safari browser.

The fix for me is to hit the search tab twice. The first time, I get a blank page; the second time I get my search results.

Go figure.

I've seen similar behavior reports regarding Mac/Safari.

When you get the blank page, click once in the blank area and see if that makes the page visible.

It is, I believe, a Safari issue since I've seen the symptoms reported on multiple sites that use different technologies on the server side but the same problem is always reported by Safari users.

You're not the only one. I get the same thing sometimes.

Should be a glitch.

Please try what I suggested the next time this happens and let me know if it works.

We're collecting diagnostic information here. Every bit helps.

I do not have a Mac here to test with so I can only rely on what people tell me.

Weird thing is, it's working fine now. Sounds like Steven's also happens just sometimes. I'll try your suggestion if it happens again, and let you know.

You're right. Safari has a few glitches, and sometimes I have to use IE just to get into a site. But it's pleasant to use, so I keep coming back to it.

Thanks very much for all your help!

Yes, multi-browser compatibility is (or should be) the holy grail for a web designer these days and it's almost impossible to accomplish.

In the "old days" (all of 10 years ago) all we had to do was make sure things worked in both Netscape and IE. The choices are so varied now, and all choices pick and choose which standards they support....

I'd be thrilled to narrow this down to a Safari issue, and even more thrilled if we could pin it down to a specific version.

PLEASE DO!

All I have is anecdotal reports at this point.

See my response to Steven.
